Saudade - Peter Pan

Kirra let out a small huff as she followed after the sheriff while Emma and Mary Margaret followed after her. It was dark and the forest was giant so there was a large possibility that they could get lost but lucky for them they had two professional hunters in their group however none of them knew that just yet.

Kirra and graham both stop simultaneously and reach down towards the soil as they notice that the tracks had stopped there

"What is it?" Emma asks in confusion once she notices the two had stopped

"The trails stop here" Kirra explains and they both stand back up

"You sure cause I thought that tracking was one of your skills" Emma says which angers Kirra

"I said the trail ran out I didn't say that i couldn't find him" she growls and glares harshly at Emma "I'll find him just give me a second. This is my world" when she realised how she was talking she was shocked but she didn't apologise this time as she heard a male voice in her head

"And the best part is... on Neverland you never have to apologise..."

She quickly snaps out of it and then continues to walk forwards and started looking again and she didn't know how but she knew exactly what to do. Emma, Graham and Mary Margaret all followed after her and she didn't even notice when Henry came.

She was focused and she was looking at everything, she followed the broken branches the brushed off leaves and everything she could until they got down to the river "he's here somewhere. Fan out and see if you can find him"

Henry grinned widely as he heard the girls words and thought back to when he had read them in his book.

"Ready or not here we come" Adira and the lost boys called out excitedly and opened their eyes. They were playing hide and seek and had to find Peter which they knew would be hard considering he is magic "alright we are going to split up into groups of ten so we are safe but can find him faster. Everyone get into your groups and then fan out and see if you can find him"

They nod their head and then the groups all split up to search different parts of the island.

"So where do you think he's hiding?" Felix asks from behind her as they stalk through the woods

"Knowing him he is probably up in a tree somewhere. He likes being in high places, like he's flying" she responds and then immediately all the boys in her group look up into the trees and start looking for him "boys, listen to the trees. The land is alive, if you listen closely it will tell you where he is"

They were confused by her words but they didn't question her, they knew she knew what she was doing and they knew that with her in their group they had the best chance of finding Pan

They watch as the girl kneels down toward the ground and places her hand flat down on the ground and closes her eyes for a moment, almost as if she where concentrating

As Adira kept her hand on the ground she could feel all of the vibrations running through the ground as if she were in complete tune with the earth. She could feel the shocks from all the lost boys running over the island and she could feel Pan jumping tree from tree and at that moment she knew exactly where he was

"Come on this way, quickly" she says with a grin and then jumps up into the trees and jumps from tree to tree, they all stay in the ground but chase after her. As she jumped from tree to tree she stopped and the boys were confused for a moment

"Why d-" one of the boys starts to ask but she quickly puts her fingers to her lips as she looks at them, telling them to be quiet and they all nod their heads and then they finally realise why she stopped. A few trees ahead of them, sitting on a branch looking out at the ocean was Peter Pan.
