Hannah's P.O.V.

Oh my God...I love chocolate. This house looks so beautiful...and tasty. My dream house.

Wait, chocolate reminds me of something.

YES! It is brown.

It reminds me of Mr. Brown.

My eyes shot open immediately and I sat up on my bed. I stretched my hand to pick up the phone kept on the bedside table. I switched it on.

06:46 a.m.

Friday

NO!

How could this slip from my mind?

It is a Friday.

Friday....'The Detention Day'.

Mr. Brown had given me detention.

Is there any chance that he might have forgotten about it? I hope there is.

I got up from the bed and rushed to the bathroom to get ready for school.

I wore a cream white cropped sweater with a pair of blue denim and boots. I had a quick breakfast where Dad was lecturing me how significant it is to have a proper breakfast.

Once I was done with breakfast (lesson), I went to get my car keys. I came back to the dining area to say goodbye to Dad but I heard him up there in George's room, telling him to hurry up. I called out a "Bye," and heard two in return.

I got out of the house, into my car, and off to school.

I reached school ten minutes in time.

I parked my car and entered in, heading towards the lockers. I kept on reminding myself to not get into Mr. Brown's way, but here he was, coming out out of the principal's office.

I wanted to run, but a person running is even more visible. I thought walking through the crowd, with the head bowed down would be the best thing to do.

I tried to merge with the people and it seemed to work. I went past him and he didn't notice me.

Great!

But I'll have to hide in his class as well. That is going to be even more difficult.

Economics is over. Next is English. I should ask Mrs. Watson to let me go to the medical room. I'll spend the next hour in there and easily keep out of Mr. Brown's sight.

I went to the medical room and there I saw Jason sleeping with a face covered in bandages.

Then all those whispers started making sense. People were talking about some incident that took place in the morning. Apparently, someone had beaten Jason. Usually, it is the other way round.

I was not ready for the voice that came from behind me.

"Miss Cooper, what are you doing here?" I turned around and saw Mr. Brown standing at the entrance.
