Chapter 3: Ugh Highschool

Chapter 3:

Kayleen's POV

The day at school turned out well. Most of my classes were with Braeden. And in every class all the girls were so excited. I mean can't those girls control their hormones? Anyways here I am with my best friend Illiana. Talking about the 'new boy'. I know right? It's been the whole day but still he us the topic. Ugh highschool.

"Hey, Leen! Are you even listening to me?" Illiana said her tone filled with irritation.

"What were you talking about again?" I asked a little confused and lost.

"Ugh I have been talking here for what, 30 minutes and you don't even listen to me? Unbelievable. Tell why we're friends again?" she said.

"Umm because you love me and I love you? If that wasn't the answer, why don't you answer that yourself?" I said tired because of all this talking and misunderstandings.

"You know what? Let's just go home and get rest. You look so exhausted!" she said.

We walked to the bus stop to wait for the bus. Several minutes we were inside the bus and took a seat.

"Okay soo... I just wanted to tell you that your seventeenth birthday is near like a week from now." Illi said starting a conversation.

"Thanks. Now I remember that it is my birthday is like a we- wait, WHAAAT?!" I screamed earning glares at people form the bus. That's so embarassing.

"Yaaasss! And I wanted to plan it with you. So that you would have a great birthday party. I will go to your house okay? Finish our homeworks together then plan it together." Leen said verrry excited. It's like she's the one who has a birthday and even more excited than I am.

"Psh like I have a choice." I whispered to myself.

After minutes of driving we finally reached the bus stop near my house. We got up and left the bus along with other passengers. We walked until we reached mu house and opened the door.

"Hey mom, dad! I'm home!" I yelled to let them know that I was already here.

"Hey honey, oh hey Illinana! It's been awhile since you last came here! What a surprise!" my mom greeted us.

"Good evening, Naleya! It's nice to see you too." Illiana said kissing mom in the cheeks.

"Good evening Illiana, Kayleen." Dad greeted taking usinto a group hug.

"Good evening Ryle." Illiana said hugging back.

"Hey mom, dad. We'll just go upstairs to do our homeworks. Just call when you need us." I said taking Illiana to the stairs.

"Okay honey we'll call you when dinner is ready." Mom said.

We went up and to my room. I let Illiana go in first and closed the door behind me. Illiana sat on my bed and crunched up her nose.

"Eeeew. KAYLEEN HENRY WHITE! Is this pee?! It's so wet!" Illiana said standing up and got tissue from her bag and started wiping her hands and clothes. Smelling them too.

"Oh no. LEE HENRY WHITE! I swear you're gonna clean all the dishes for 3 whole years and I'll kill you!" I yelled going to the front of his bedroom door and started banging my fist againts them.

"LEE OPEN THIS DOOR THIS INSTANT!!" I yelled. Banging my fists louder.

"Oops, I think I spilled my lemon juice all over your bed." He opened the door and started running like his life depended on it. Heck yeah it did!

I started running to catch him but Illiana stopped me.

"Uh uh. Get inside the room right now. We can kill him after we finish our homeworks. We better finish fast so we can plan that birthday party." Illiana said calmly.

"Okay fine." I got in my bedroom and started doing my asignments.

After 10 years we died da endddd. Joke heheheeh. It was only hours. We finally finished our assignments just in time we got called for dinner.

"Yes, dinner!" Illinana and I said at the same time then laughed at the same time.

"Hey girls! Are you gonna eat or somethin'?" my dad said.

"Coming!" I said and raced Illiana to the door. Unfortunately I am no good in sports. In fact, I suck at it. So in the end she won, eventually.

We sat down and said our thanks and started eating. We started conversations. Mostly about school and Illiana's family and ofcourse Illiana.

Several minutes later, we went to the living room to watch tv.

"Hey Naleya, I'm planning to have a sleepover here in your house. Is it okay?" Illiana asked.

"Ofcourse it's fine. This is your home and your family. I'll just inform Menily and Mevrick." mom said taking her phone to inform them about her staying at our house.

"We're going upstairs now. Goodnight mom, dad...and L-E-E." I said going up the stairs dragging Illiana along the way. Which did 't even work. Heck, what is she eating?

"Oh come on I can walk by myself." Illiana said whinning like a baby. An annoying baby at that. We went inside my room. I got my extra matresses and laid them next to my bed. Put on some covers and pillows.

We got into the bed and talked a little planning my birthday until finally she gave up and slept. Sigh... Finally, I could get rest.
