Prolouge
"Darling, can you take our cat outside oh and don't forget to bring the trash. Play with your cat first. I'll call you when dinner's ready," my mother said.
"Yesh mommy. Come here kitty kitty. Let's play." I went outside to take out the trash when I felt a quick wind that past flew me. It was a tiny metal that could make you sleep for hours called a tranquilizer.
"MOOOOOMMMY!!! Aaaaaaaah!!!!!!" I screamed and went inside the house to tell my parents.
"Kayl! What happened?" my mom asked me.
"Mommy! The people with guns are coming!" I said scared.
"Kayleen, I want you to get your packpack that is under your bed now." I knew my mom was serious because she never called me by my full name. I nodded and went upstairs to get the backpack my mom always hid for emergencies.
I went downstairs just in time to hear the door veing opened by the men.
"Kayleen, I want you to run. Go to the back door and leave. Run and never look back. Do you understand?" my mom told me quickly.
"But mommy, I don't wanna leave." I said crying and hugging my mom. never wanting to let go of her, ever.
"Run and don't look back. Don't worry we'll catch up to you." my mom said
"But-" I was cut by the door opening revealing men with large guns in their hands.
"Go now Kaleen. I love you three times a day and forever more." my mom said kissing me before leaving me.
I went to the back door and opened it. I ran and ran just as I promised neve looking back at my house. I ran with my little legs forcing them to go faster every second.
I ran and ran deeper into the woods until it was so dark in the woods that I can't see. I stopped running but continued walking to catch my breath just then, I heard a twig snap and saw light coming from flashlights. I ran to them to call for help but I ran into a root that caused me to lose my balance and hit my head in a rock. I saw a sillhouete hovering over me and I blacked out.
