Legiana's Lament (Monster Hunter World) (On Hold)

The Radobaan King

   The Plunderers looked different than they usually do. They had spiked Radobaan armor and one of them had a strange variety of the Plunderblade. Another one had more spikes on its armor than the others. They turned and noticed Jay standing there. Suddenly they turned aggressive and one of the Plunderers tackled Jay to the ground. "Nya, this is Radobaan King territory, nya!!!" It spoke in Jay's language, he was kinda shocked. The other two Plunderers swiftly grabbed his arms and dragged him over to a nearby tree. The Plunderer that was holding the altered Plunderblade, took it off its back and held it up at Jay. "Nya, you made a grave mistake coming here, nya..."

   "W-Why are you doing this?" Jay asked in a scared tone. The armed Plunderer hissed, "Nya, that should be obvious, nya!" "Nya, he does look genuinely confused though, nya..." The spiked armored Plunderer tilted its head. The other Plunderer nodded in agreement. The armed Plunderer sighed, "Nya, alright fine, kid... Listen up, nya!" It poked Jay slightly to get his full attention. "Nya, this is the Radobaan King's territory. He has claimed it for himself and doesn't want petty hunters like you on his land, nya!" The Plunderer explained. "Who's this Radobaan King guy you guys keep mentioning?!" Jay panicked. The Plunderer hissed as it scratched him on the cheek with its claws, "NYA, YOU SHOULD KNOW HIM, NYA!!!" "Nya, so disrespectful, nya..." The spiked armored Plunderer sighed.

   Jay held his cheek where the Plunderer scratched him and drew blood. The third Plunderer purred, "Nya, what should we do with him, nya?" The other Plunderers thought for a moment. Then finally the armed Plunderer meowed, "Nya, I know exactly what to do with him, nya..." Jay shivered slightly from the evil in the Plunderer's voice.

   Joseph and the others have been searching in the Ancient Forest for a while now. Eleanor came up with the idea of having Xavier, Serra, and Jude go out to search for Jay so that hopefully they could find him faster. "So far no tracks of him around here..." Handler sighed. Eleanor frowned sadly, "I really hope he's ok... He'll get killed if he gets attacked without having his Kadachi Claws..." "I'm sure we'll find him." Handler comforted her. Joseph noticed something in the distance and walked towards it. "Huh, hey where are you going?" Eleanor called after him. Handler and Eleanor followed behind him. It turns out that what Joseph saw was old Radobaan spikes. " A Radobaan has been rolling around here..." He told himself as he gently touched the bone spikes.

   "Do you think Jay might have went this way?" Handler asked. Joseph shrugged, "I don't know but we should follow these tracks just in case." Joseph got off his knees and follow the trail of bone spikes. Eleanor cautiously payed close attention to her surroundings, trying to look for any tracks that might help them find Jay. She noticed a small patch of body hair on the side of a tree. "Hey guys, look at this." Joseph and Handler stopped and looked at the hair. "Hmm, it looks like Tobi-Kadachi fur..." Handler took a small piece off of the tree. Suddenly they heard a rustling, causing them to instantly prepare themselves to fight.

   The rustling stopped when Benjamin emerged from the bushes. He looked really beat up. "Benjamin, is that you?" Handler gasped slightly. He nodded, "Yeah, I've been fighting Radobaan left and right... I want to leave, now." Benjamin noticed Eleanor and didn't do anything. He didn't glare at her or growl, he only stared. "Stay safe rookie, ok?" Benjamin spoke as he walked off. Eleanor was a bit surprised. "Looks like he's already used to you." Joseph smiled a bit. Eleanor shrugged, "I guess..." "Those Radobaan seem to be a handful for everyone... Let's just be careful while we search for Jay." Handler told them. Eleanor and Joseph nodded in agreement. They decided to continue their search for Jay more cautiously for now on.
