Ushijima x reader

~2 School

(Y/N) POV:

   I was woken up by my alarm and then my Aunt knocking on my door. I yawned  as I got up going to wash my face. I went back to my room to get ready. After 30 minutes I was ready and went down stairs "Good morning" I yawned grabbing toast. My Aunt smiles "Morning!~ Satori should be down in a minute. He already ate." She smiles cleaning the counter. After a minute Satori came down "Ready (Y/N)?" He hummed. I nodded following him out and say bye to my Aunt. While we were walking we were making small talk. It was kinda a far walk "You know Shiratorizawa has dorms. We should look into staying their instead." He whined not wanting to walk so far. I nod agreeing because I'm tired "Ya we can ask." I hum. After another 15 minutes we got to the school. He took me to the gym since he had morning practice first "Go sit on the bleachers. I'm gonna go change." I nod and go sit. 5 minutes later 2 people came out of the dressing room. One was average height, black hair with janky bangs and weird eyebrows. The guy with him was tall and had fluffy hair and thick eyebrows. The one with weird bangs sees me and comes over to me "Hey no fan girls aloud." he huffs. I look at him and chuckle "That's funny~ good thing I'm not a fan girl" I smile at him. The other guy looks at me "You don't look familiar. Who are you?" I smile and stand in front of him holding my hand out " (Y/N)(L/N) nice to meet you.." He shakes my hand "Reon Ohira and that's Tsutomu Goshiki. I'm a third year he's a first year." He explains. I nod "I'm a third year as well. I just moved here!" Reon nods. Goshiki looks at me confused "Where did you move from?" Before I got a chance to reply Satori appeared behind them with a few other people "She just moved back here from California~" They turn and look at him startled "you know her?" Reon questioned. Satori nodded "She's my cousin. She lives with me and that's why she's here." He smiles at them. The coach walks in and starts to yell at them to warm up. The boys all go to start warm ups and the coach sees me "and you are?" He asks in a bitter tone. I smile "I'm (Y/N)(L/N) I'm satori's cousin. It's my first day here." He nods with squinting eyes "mhm.. Do you plan on playing any sports? Do you know you have to be in at least one club? Do you have any knowledge of volleyball?" He started throwing a bunch of questions at me all at once. I smile "No. Kinda and yes of course, I'm Satori's cousin." I chuckle at the last part. He nods rubbing his chin "Well the only way ill let you sit in on practice is if you either become manager or some form of help here." He huffs and sits down. 'What a demanding little old man he is.' I sit back down and go over my classes and go on my phone. I listen to some music and try to relax to get rid of all my nerves. Al of a sudden I fell and kinda hear a loud bang next to me causing me to shoot my eyes open and I look to my right. I see a volley ball bouncing. I take out my ear buds hearing people yelling at someone because of it. I get up grabbing the ball. I serve it back in their direction and sit back down until the end of practice. After practice Satori and some tall dude with a stone face came up to me "Ready for your quick tour?" He smiles. I nod grabbing my things and I walk out of the gym with them "So who's your puppy?" I ask Satori as we walk in silence. My question makes Satori break out into laughter "This is my friend Ushijima Wakatoshi. Ushiwaka this is my cousin (L/N)(Y/N) she's in the same year as us." I smile holding my hand out to him "Nice to meet you Ushijima-Kun" He shakes my hand and nods. We start walking again "If I'm being honest you don't need much of a tour since you're in our class." I nod and we walk into class. Satori and Ushijima sit next to each other in the back. I sit in front of Satori and talk to him until class starts.

Time skip to lunch because I'm lazy and idk what to type lol.

The bell rings meaning lunch time. Satori stands up "Since you don't have any friends as cool as us you can eat with us" He laughs. I chuckle getting up and following him and Ushijima. We get to the cafeteria and sit down at a table. I'm in between Satori and Ushijima. The other third years and some second years sit with us. "So (L/N) Why did you move here?" The boy I know named Semi asks me "You all can call me (Y/N) it's more comfortable for me and I moved here because my parents are busy with work.." I smile They nod. Satori jumps a little like he remembered something "Hey I over heard you talking to coach. You should be manager! It would be easy for us and I think you would enjoy it!" I Nod finishing the food in my mouth "Ya I was thinking about it. It seems fun plus I need something to do." He nods and we take more bites of our food. Ushijima looks at me "Do you know anything about volleyball? Or managing a sports team?" He questions in a kind of harsh way shocking me "Yes I used to play it. I stopped because I didn't feel like I was meant to be playing it." He nods and starts eating again. The way he said that rubbed me the wrong way making me more irritated for the rest of the day. Lunch ended and we went back to class. Which left me more time to think about if I would be manager or not.
