James Arthur- Say you won't let go.
Velar was not in the dorm but Zak let them know she had left to the telephone booth. Since Kweiba couldn't go any further, Faye decided to go in search of her.
Shd did see her there on the phone speaking in an undertone, from afar you could tell she was talking to someone she clearly adored, then her facial expression changes briefly and she ends the call.
As she walks away, Faye falls in step.
" Hey kid." She greets.
" Hello Sister Velar" Faye replies like a good girl.
" Are you lost or something cause I am tired of redirecting lost freshmen." Velar spells out to them shoving her hands into the pockets of her dark blue carwash pants.
" Ummm no, I actually need something....you know, some sort of relief from pain." She whispers and this causes Velar to stop in her tracks.
" Who told you?"
" Nobody exactly, I'm just very observant." Faye lies.
" Okay, so what are we talking about?" Velar asks resuming their walk back to the house.
" Maybe something for a hangover?" Faye asks.
" So you were a part of those little kids who went out last night huh?" She asks with a grin," Very naughty little girls."
They got to the house and surprisingly, she had a key to the box room. They stealthily broke in without anyone's notice.
She walks over to her box, it was ordinary and looked exactly like everyone else's. She unlocked it with her key and opened it revealing several packages of cough and cold syrups, drugs for stomach congestion and running, and other pills in clear ziploc bags.
She rummaged through all the ziplocs and turned to her, " Sadly, I didn't bring enough Advil this semester so I've run out of it."
Faye sighs in disappointment.
Velar smiles to her," But I've got something better and stronger. I don't know if you'd be okay with it."
" Hit me." Faye replies with conviction and Velar clears the center of the box off drugs until it was bare now and you could see the newspaper lining beneath. She claws at the bottom with her nails until she hit jackpot and lifted a square cutting up revealing several bars of chocolate in their plastic rubber wrappings. They were arranged in a colour formation. Red, blue, green and purple. With the same brand name; Titanium Bars. Each colour represented a different flavour.
She takes a purple bar and hands it to her, vanilla.
" You've gotta be kidding me!" Faye chuckles.
" No, on the contrary this is one of the best natural remedies. Haven't you heard cocoa powder has a healing effect on inflamed cells related to migraine headaches ?" Velar asks .
" Well excuse me Doctor Velar for not knowing that fact." Faye jokes checking the rectangular bar of chocolate out, " So how much for this?"
" Twenty."
" Wait what?, You want me to pay twenty for a bar of chocolate?" Faye asks in surprise.
" It's not like any other bar, I only sell it to exclusive people but you seem to be in need and that is why I am compromising," Velar explains, " You won't get this on the market and it's a very quick relief for pain. Try it, you'll be coming to me for it regardless of the charge."
