(main pov)
pain is all I feel as hurtle towards the ground.
'This is it, I can finally be free' I think sadly, a tear slipping down my face. Memories of the hell that I was Imprisoned flash in my mind making me cry even more. The pain is so unbearable and I begin drifting in and out of consciousness. My eyes flutter closed just as I crash back down to earth...
(Natasha pov)
"tony can you slow down?! You're going 30 kilometers over the speed limit!" I scream from the backseat, holding on for dear life
"I acknowledged the signs recommendation" shrugged tony
it was currently 2 am and we were all heading back to the tower after kicking hydras ass yet again
"Stark i swear if you dont slow down-" Steve began
The car had stopped and the radio had turned off. We sat in silent confusion until clint spoke up,
"Why we stop?" He questioned
Tony looked into the back seat, the same look of confusion on his face. "I didnt"
"Maybe you busted the motor with all your crazy driving?" I say sarcastically
Tony mutters something to himself and steps out the car to take a look under the hood. It opens with a pop and after a few minutes of fiddling he sighs. By now all the avengers (except thor) had gathered at the front of the car to see what the problem was
"Nat was right, motors dead" he grumbled
"Where are we anyway?" Asked clint, noticing that we were not infact in the city, but the middle of the desert
"And this is why we dont let stark drive" said steve with a sigh
"friday where are we?" Tony asked ignoring steves comment
"You are in nevada sir" replied the AI
the others groaned realising they wernt getting home anytime soon. We started shouting at tony and throwing accusations left and right.
"Whats that sound?" Wanda interrupted, walking from the group and staring into the empty desert. She squinted than her eyes widened.
"Theres something over there!" Shes shouted pointing to a speck on the horizon. We walked over to where wanda was standing and looked to where she was pointing.
"It might just be a rock or something" tony said
"No i hear them, their thoughts" wanda insisted
Everyone nodded but tony who was sulking in the drivers seat.
"Well i think its wirth a shot, i mean we arnt doing anything just standing around" bruce said
Everyone nodded again even tony and they started jogging towards the structure...
