Cady

As we gather in our house after Lesly's and Kyle's ironic wedding day, which was three days ago, I just observe how happy the people are while having their own conversations with one another. These people that have different roles in my life.

My parents, which are supportive through everything even when they were hesitant the last time when Conner asked me to marry him. Conner's parents, who stands as my second parental guide. My sister, Melissa, well you know she's some cray-cray mother now but, our sister's bond will always be there. Jamie, who is always there to make out with Mike. I mean, who is always there to give me some advice. Lesly, the matured one among the three of us and who likes to suprise you. Mike, Kyle and Brian who stands as my three big brothers. Then there he is, my hunk and bad boy of a man, my fiancee, and of course, the father of my child. Conner.

I smile while looking at Conner, when he catch my gaze, he smiles then winks at me. I stick my tongue out at him, he raises an eyebrow saying, 'oh-really?' I giggle.

"Hey Cady, how are you doing?" Lesly asks, while handing me a mug that has hot choco in it, after mumbling a 'thanks' I answered.

"I'm fine. So, how was the short honeymoon?" I grin, then eye her.

"Well, of course he was amazing and we're not done yet, we will continue after we greet the New Year." She says while wiggling her eyebrows.

"Oh god, stop. Why did I even ask you about that? Jeez." She laughs while I cringe.

"How's your little guy there?" She caresses my bump then let out a gasp as my baby kicks. "Oh my goodness!" She laughs in surprise.

"He's stressing me out actually." I smile weakly.

"Aw, no pains?" She chugs down her beer.

Why cant I have one? Just one.

"So far, none." I say, eyeing her beer.

"Good, and no." I pout. As our conversation ends, we hear Jamie calling us through the microphone.

"Girls, come on here! We're going to rock this night!" The melody of Zombie by The Cranberries plays. The people in our house let out some howling and whistling tones.

"You have got to be kidding me." Lesly says in disbelief, a small smile form to my lips while I shake my head.

Oh boy.

"Bye, Cady! Wish we could go clubbing again!" Jamie shouts as the gang bid their 'goodbyes.'

"Soon!" I shout back and wave my hand at her and Mike. Conner standing beside while he stills the door open wide.

"Darling, I wish we could spend more time like this." Mom squeezes my shoulder in a comforting way. She gives me a motherly smile, showing her wrinkles through the corners of her eyes. I smile back, getting emotional.

"Of course, mom." I hug her, looking up, so the tears would back out.

"Merry Christmas, my sweet Cady." She caressed my cheek then gave it a kiss.

"Merry Christmas. I love you, mom." I smile. She gives me a look of love and care.

"Goodnight, princess." Dad hugs me.

"Goodnight, dad. Merry Christmas." He pulls away and looks at me.

"Merry Christmas."

"You'll be a grandfather soon, again." I say while I grin, trying to light up the dramatic atmosphere.

"How could I forget," he chuckles. "Am getting older," he sighs dramatically.

"Oh stop being so melodramatic, dad." We laugh.

"Conner." Dad looks at Conner as his tone turns serious.

"Damon."

"Be the best father for a son or daughter would ask for." He smiles.

"I will." Then dad and mom turn around, they hold onto each other to their sides, as they walk away from us to their car.

I sigh, "at least my sister didn't talk to me like that."

"What do you mean 'like that'?" Conner chuckles.

I roll my eyes, "dramatically." But smile. "I've missed them."

"I can tell, baby." Conner kisses the side of my head, closes our main door and leads me to our room.

"Baby," Conner whispers as we ready ourselves for bed.

"Hm?" I feel him behind me, he trails his hands to my sides while feeling his hot breath behind my right ear and neck then, a squared red box placed in front of me. "What is this, honey?"

"Open it to find it out, it's yours anyway." I feel him shrug. I open the red velvet box and gasp. The jewelry in the box twinkles, it's breath taking. I take it out. It's a bracelet. It is quite simple yet, breath taking for my likings. It has various pendants that separates by some small studed diamonds. This bracelet is all about family. The small socks, house, a wife and a husband holding hands, a crib and the five members of a family; A wife holding a new born baby, then his husband to her side while their son sits to his shoulders and between them is their daughter. I smile.

"Three, huh." I turn around to face him.

"I guess." he smirks, I smile.

"Merry Christmas, baby." He pulls me by my waist, I put the bracelet back then put the box on the bed side table, placing my arms around his neck.

"Merry Christmas, but. . ." My lips curls into a snob.
"I don't have a gift for you." He frowns then smirks.

"How about, we make love." He whispers while brushing his nose to mine. I close my eyes, smiling.

"Hmm. . . Are you sure that's a good idea?"

"Baby, that's the best idea." I giggle as he drags me down to our bed gently.

Maybe we didn't get the bond we supposed to get and feel on Christmas day but, that doesn't mean we couldn't for some other day right? It was a bliss just to hang out with the people who are close to you, it was a heart melting day. It felt like it was Christmas, a late Christmas. Next stop, New Year, Valentines Day, March? I don't know, probably Justin Bieber's birth freaking day! And then April fools, best month to deliver a baby.
