"Si Zhui!" JingYi shouts and runs towards Lan SiZhui with a huge grin on his face, he was holding a plate of chicken wings and his sword in the other.

"JingYi, running and shouting is forbidden in Gusu, you know that" SiZhui can't help but laugh at his clumsy best friend. JingYi was known for being the most un-Lan Lan ever, breaking at least 2 rules every so often, despite his lack of discipline, SiZhui never despised him, after all, their 14 years of being best friends wasn't for nothing.

"JingYi, SiZhui warned you, running and shouting is forbidden in Gusu, luckily it was I that caught you, if Lan QiRen saw you, he'd make sure you'd have the VIP seat in the entire library." Lan XiChen appeared out of the corner, he wore a friendly smile but a stern face, not as stern as Lan WangJi's but close enough to see the resemblance.

"Sorry, Zewu-Jun, I wasn't really paying attention to what my legs were doing!" JingYi always had an excuse for everything, whether it was a good one or a bad one, he had guts to face whatever he had in the future waiting for him for using one.

"I think I like your 'my dog ate my memory' one better than this one," Zewu-Jun stifles a giggle "but come on you two, you still have class in the evening, save your food for later, JingYi and then you two can head over."

"Yes, Zewu-Jun" chorused JingYi and SiZhui.

After Zewu-Jun left, the two couldn't help but burst into laughter, JingYi managed to escape from his punishments once again.

"I wonder how long it would take Lan QiRen to figure out that Zewu-Jun had been letting you go every time." SiZhui teased.

"Letting you go of what?" Lan QiRen's voice boomed across the entire corridor, making JingYi and SiZhui jump in fright.

"Uhh!- Nothing- uhm- just saying that Zewu-Jun let me go, uh- get more chicken wings- hehe" *holds up the plate of chicken wings and grins*

"I'd hope that they aren't the chickens in Gusu" Lan QiRen walked away leaving JingYi and SiZhui both panting for breath.

"Are they?" whispered SiZhui.

"Yes, but they were nearly dead anyway!"

Lan QiRen wasn't as far away as JingYi liked, he came back, grabbed JingYi by the ear and dragged him to receive his punishments.

OuYang ZiZhen came just in time to see JingYi screaming while being dragged away by Lan QiRen and SiZhui gaping at what just happened.

"He's finally gone back to his second home, has he?" ZiZhen laughed.

"Oh shut up, he could get seriously injured, he goes there every few weeks, it's really not healthy, you're not wrong though, you could really consider it his second home." SiZhui sighs as he talks, "Let's go, he won't be out until another five hours." SiZhui and ZiZhen walk towards class, casually bumping into Jin Ling on the way. Jin Ling looked at them, up and down before walking away with a "Tch." This caused ZiZhen to become furious,

"Who are you to "Tch" at us? You aren't the elders, so you have no right!"

"Oh shut up, you guys are really annoying, I don't waste my time talking to a bunch of nobodies." With that said, Jin Ling sashayed off leaving SiZhui pulling at ZiZhen's arm to stop him from fighting Jin Ling.

"Young master Jin, the way you were talking back there is absolutely no way to be talking to your fellow peers, I'd suggest your apologies to them at once or else, there are further consequences." Lan XiChen warned Jin Ling.

"Before you start teaching other sect's disciples how to behave, I'd suggest you teach your disciples first!" Jin Ling barked at Zewu-Jun only just realising who he was talking to. "I'm SO SORRY ZEWU-JUN! I- didn't control my temper just then, I'm really really really sorry!" Jin Ling looks down at his feet.
