“Mikkie! Over here!” Sigaw ni Jeremy nang mag-abot ang tingin namin.
Payuko naman din akong lumapit sakanila.
“Hm?”
Jeremy was with a guy na naka-hood at naka mask, it was obvious na si Adrien iyon.
“Oh? Anyare sayo? Puyat? Wantulog?”
“Kasalanan mo ito eh.” Pabulong kong saad.
If he wasn’t absent yesterday, siguro matutulungan nya pa ako instead of James!
“Ha?”
“Sabi ko, kelangan ko ng pera.”
“Ay sus, ‘yan lang naman pala e!” Anito at hinampas ang likod ko.
Bwiset ah, nanghahampas na pala sya.
“Really? You’re broke? How much do you need?” Biglang sawsaw ni Adrien sa usapan.
“I’m willing to lend any amount.” Mala-confident na ani rin ni Jeremy.
“1.2 Million. Kaya nyo?”
“Sobra naman ata iyan, Mikkie. Parang gusto mo na ring hingiin ang sasakyan ko.”
“Mmh, I can lend you some.” Ani Adrien.
FOR REAL?! May pera sya na ganyan ka laki?!
“Teka lang, dude. Mika, ano namang gagawin mo sa milyones?” Ani Jeremy.
“Ewan ko. I’m going to spend them all to entertain myself before I die.” Matamlay kong sabi.
Now that Mikhaela and Minerva is in James’ hands, maganda pa ba yatang mabuhay?

“Uhm- maybe not.” Bawi ni Adrien.
“Hi James!” Biglang saad ni Jeremy at kumaway ng kamay sa kaliwa.

Dumaan si James sa gitna and I almost tripped when he pulled my wrist!
“Hoy! Nasa gitna kami ng usapan!” Ani Jeremy but James ignored him at tuluyan akong hinila paalis doon.
“What’s your problem, James!?”
Napahinto ito sa paglalakad at hinarap ako,

“Eh Ano nga ba ang problema mo saakin?! Be specific!”
James sighed at nagpatuloy sa pagkaladkad saakin until we both ended up in an empty classroom.
Binitawan na nito ang kamay ko kaya nakapag-cross arms na rin ako sawakas.
“Don’t cross your arms.” Sabi nito at pinaghawalay ang mga kamay ko!
“Ikaw na pala ang masusunod ngayon?”
Tinaya ko lang naman ang pangalan ni Mikhaela at Minerva, tapos pinag-uutos utusan nya na ako?
“Yes. And I have a rule for you; bawat Gawain mo, you’ll have to inform me everything about it by the end of the day.” Malamig nitong sabi saakin.
“Tsk! Bakit ko naman sasabihin sayo lahat ng mga Gawain ko!?”
“Because it’s now in the rules.”
“Kailangan ko pa ba talagang sundin iyan lahat?”
“That’s ONE simple rule.”
“Pake ko!”
“Mikhaela is now my territory, sabihin mo ‘yan kay Xavier.”

Pumunta ako sa garden kung saan naghihintay ang tatlo.
“I’m still not okay with it! I cant accept this!” sigaw ni Evelyn.
“Wagka ngang sumigaw, Ev. Students might hear you,” Payo ni Abby sakanya.
“Maybe it’s better to accept it. Perhaps he really just don’t have anything in his life, and decided to mess up Queen.” Saad ni Shane. I gave them a pout look.
“Shane.. I am messed up!” Gusto ko nang maiyak.
Why the hell did I even gamble such an important thing, or should I say, THINGS!
“No no, Queen, it’s okay to mess up sometimes..” Ani Abby at Naramdaman ko ang effort na nilagay nya para lng sa sentence na iyon.
“You guys tried to warn me, pero napaka-confident ko lang talaga!”
This is all my damn fault!
“But it already happened to fast, Queen.. What else can we do but accept it?” Ani Evelyn.
“Akala ko kakasabi mo lang na YOU CANT ACCEPT IT? Ugh- I just cant accept this!”
“W-well, three of us needs to cheer you up for good, heheh.”
“Mourning wont fix anything. James wouldn’t do anything to you for as far as I can calculate, I promise.” Saad ni Shane and I suddenly felt a high raise of hope within me.
So I held my tears back.
“I think I-I’ll believe on that.”..

(MAFIA VIEW)

“Can he speak?” Tanong ni Komander sa mga kasamahan nito.
“I don’t think he can.” Sagot din naman ni Yazeh.
“Just give me anything, Ray! A microchip? A device? Recorder, or a file! We need a report, Klint needs it.” Madiing saad ni Komander kay Rayburn who was currently on a hospital bed at may benda ito sa bunganga.
They noticed how Rayburn tried to move his fingers, pero hanggang galaw lang ito at hindi na makakapag turo ng kahit ano.
“Komander… Rayburn is out.” Another reaper said at lumuha ang mga gilid ng mata nito.
“Forget the fact that he’s out, Mnemirra. You’re alive yourself and you need to deal with the things he couldn’t deal, don’t cry for him, understood? You’ll only show how fragile you are if you start crying now.”
“Komander is right, Mnemirra. Klint would be mad if we couldn’t get him any report. There must be something in that highschool dahil napatumba pa nila ang stealth-assassin saatin.” Morel said,
“Is that all I need to know?”
“K-klint…”
Nagulat ang mga reapers dahil sa presensya ng pinuno nila, Klint shouldn’t be there at a time like this dahil may Government meetings pa ito.
“Yes, it’s me, Nark. Tell me everything about this highschool you are talking about.”
“Remember when you sent Rayburn to spy on that freaky highschool of famous rich kids which where your da****** is currently schooling at?”
“Of course I would remember, Nark.”
“Well, 2 Days ago, Rayburn came back all wound up at mukhang sinaksak sya ng malubhaan sa dila. Someone with such ability to perform a violence is probably one of the teachers, or the faculty members.” Ani Nark.
“I doubt that, Nark. Tell me your opinion, Komander.”
“Sang-ayon din ako sa opinion ni Nark, pero sa palagay ko rin ay maaring estudyante rin ang may gawa nyan kay Rayburn.” Komander said.
“Ah. That settles it. Kleus will replace Rayburn and spy on that school for at least 2 weeks without getting spotted. I want you to come back un-scratched, Boy. And as for you, Nark, make sure Savannah will not know any of Alcantara’s current situation. I also want you to look after the girl, tell me right away even the slightest suspicions. Ayokong ma-disappoint muli, mag-trabaho na kayo simula bukas.”
“Yes Boss!”
“Masusunod po.”
“Sandali lang, Klint. What shall we do with Rayburn?”
“Discard him. His worth isn’t valuable for me anymore, just don’t forget to pay him.”

EARLY MORNING

“You’re playing with us, Lucifer.”
“I’m not playing with the four of you. Isa lang sainyo ang pinagkaka-interes ko.”
“Why does that ONE have to be our Queen!?”
Lucifer dropped the dagger on the glass table at lumikha ito ng tinig.
“Because I’m interested with her.” Madiin nitong sagot kay Hemera.
“Spare her. Ako nalang kunin mo.”
Bigla namang napatawa si Lucifer.
“You’re really that concern about her, huh.”
“You’re awful as fuck. Of course I’m concerned!”
“May emosyon ka rin pala.”
“I will work for you, anything- you want. Please. I’m begging you.”
“Let’s gamble.”
Lucifer grinned.
“You’re really awful.” Hemera mumbled.
Tumayo si Hemera sa kinaluluhudan nya at hinarap si Lucifer ng seryoso na mukha.
“Papayag ako if I’d have to. Cheaters are the losers.”
“Mhm, sure.”
“Sabihin mo nga, you’re not using my Queen as a pawn in this Gamble,”
“No. But, she is the Gamble herself. If she falls in love with me, she stays with me. If she doesn’t, by under THREE years, I’m leaving her.”
“You’re such a Psycho! Our Queen will never fall in love with someone like you!”
“Your opinion won’t matter in this Game. Just watch closely.”

Nate took the paper na nakapatong sa lamesa nya. The class haven’t started yet kaya binuklat nya na aagd ito.
The Queens is Tamed.
The letter was printed in a gothic manner at amoy bond paper pa ito. Nate looked around to see anyone suspicious, but no one was. Not even James.

-MINERVA’S POINT OF VIEW-

An organization of gangsters from GG invited my Gang to their first Gathering.
The Organization is named ‘Gang Act’ or Gangster Action, the organization was recommended by Althea Empress at inaksyunan agad ito ng isang Gang na may pangalang ‘Cravers’; sa kasalukuyan ay sila ang namumuno sa organisasyon. Any member of the organization is allowed to take an action kapag nakakita ng riot na nag-dadamay na ng mga citizens na sakop ng republika, these gangsters are paid by the GG, kaya nagka-interes ako at sumali nalang kami sa pagpupulong.
Kaunti pa lamang ang sumali sa Organisasyon and only 6 gangs including us is interested.
The program was all about introduction of the newest organization of GG, pagkatapos naman nito ay binigyan nila kami ng Job list.
The first one says ‘Midnight Hollow’ na magaganap sa Manila.
“What’s a Midnight Hollow?” Tanong ni Luna.
“It’s a riot which happens every month in Manila City. No wonder why GG needed to take action to it, hindi bababa sa sampung milyon ang nasisira ng mga gangsters kapag nagaganap ang Midnight Hollow.” Hemera replied.
“Sampung Milyon?!”
“Oo.”
“How much is ours?” I asked,
“10 percent from the worth of 10 million.”
SAMPO?! Sampong porsyento mula sa 10 MILLION?!
“Hemera, we’re not calculators. Exact amount yung hinihingi namin.” Sabi ni Eris.
“It’s one million.” Simpleng sagot ni Shane and my jaw dropped!
That’s enough for a living!
“I don’t know why you guys are such money enthusiast. But you can take my share.” Luna said with confidence.
“We know, in fact, hindi ka naman talaga namin sinasali sa share, rich kid ka kasi.” Sabi ni Eris sakanya.
“If I take my share, I’d buy them all with candies! How’s that?”
“Wag na, Luna. Okay na yung wala kang share. We wouldn’t want an obesse member here.” Sabi ko kay Luna.
“Yes, my Queen. I love you.” Anito at hinalikan ang dalawa kong kamay ng sabay.
“Stop kissing my hand, Luna.”
“Okay, alright.”
“Hemera, kailan magaganap ang Midnight Hollow?”
“October first ang susunod.” Sagot nya.
Teka…
“That’s on Friday, right?” Tanong ko just to make sure.
“Yes. And they have a lot more guests than the usuals, mas marami na rin ang maglalaban doon.”
