Chapter 3: The Study Group

After the meeting with Horikita-senpai everything went back to normal, I go to Keyaki Mall to buy groceries for a week worth of food and when I reach my dorm, I lie into my bed lose in thought,

“What's your purpose?” I remember Horikita question me.

My purpose huh? I guess I just want to help a friend, I smiled, but deep inside I know there's more to it.

Morning

I first thought that this morning will proceed as usual, where a number of student will arrive late, Sudo will doze off in class and Ike and Yamochi won't listen to the teacher, but it turns out to be the complete opposite, everyone arrives early and diligently participate to the teachers discussion, just like a normal student would do, will they reap what they saw.

Timeskip

During lunchtime, I plan to go to the library to kill time but change route when someone called me,

“Yahoo...Ayano-kun”

Hearing the voice, I already know who this person was.

I raised my hand and replied flatly,

“Hi sensei”

“Yikes that's blunt”she pout

Then she slowly grab my shoulder and pressed it into her boobs,

“You see, I was very worried of you when Sae-chan called you to the office and you didn't give me a call, after I take the risk to give you my phone number”she asked angrily but in a low voice as if not to attract unnecessary attention but it's already too late since we're talking in the hallway anyway.

“Ahm sensei,I think we're attracting everyone's attention”

“Ooopppsss, sorry” she stepback

“I give you call later, I promise” I whispered and smile before departing,

3rd person POV.

When the afternoon class ends, everyone packs each of their belongings and heads to the library.

“Where are you heading, Ayanokouji-kun?” Horikita asked

“To the student council ”he replied

“But you promised me that you'll help me reach Class A?” she question strongly

“I know but I received a message from your older brother to visit the council today, I'll be back until it's done”

“Okay fine but make sure that you'll attend, okay?” she glared

He nods and slowly proceeds to his destination.

When he arrived, he knocked 3 times and entered the room where he was welcomed by 4 upperclassmen including Horikita's older brother.

“Permission”

“Glad you arrive, Ayanokouji” said the president who sit in front of the desk

He bowed, showing his respect to the seniors.

“This is our newest member of the council, Ayanokouji introduce yourself” he ordered

“I'm Ayanokouji Kiyotaka, Class 1-D please take care of me senpais” then bow

“Oi, A Class D student? You got to be kidding me, senpai?” said the black haired boy

“President, are you serious?” said the short haired girl

Most of them voice their dissatisfaction but one person just laughs.

“Kukuku, Class D huh? interesting” a blond boy smile widely
