Chapter 7: Epilogue

Morning

3rd Person's POV

Every student in Advance Nurturing High School is sitting anxiously in their seat, waiting for the test result which will decide whether they will stay or not.

Meanwhile in Class D

The atmosphere is not that different to the other classes, everyone wore a worried expression while looking at each tick of the clock. Even Horikita is not an exception, she's not nervous about her result but about the others, because if someone in their class will drop, it will affect her goal.

Chabashira-sensie then arrives with her usual stern look while carrying a large white paper. First, she scanned the room and looked at every student's face and suddenly smirked.

Everyone then grows confused to the sudden change of the behaviour of their teacher.

“Don't give that looked, okay here are your exam results” said Chabashira-sensei

She then stuck the white sheet paper on the blackboard, revealing everyone's names and test results.

Everyone was supposed to be happy and already shouted with joy because all of them passed each subject, but on the contrary, they just continued to stare, dumbfounded by the unexpected results.

“Honestly, I'm shocked and also impressed” Chabashira-sensei showed a thin smile

“Didn't expect such a result, especially the top 2 of the four subjects. Job well done” she clapped and continue

“But this is just the first hurdle, better be ready than never.” Sensei then return to her usual cold self

Ayanokouji's POV

‘Well that was close, he really is full of mystery’

When the class ended Horikita then looked at me.

“So that's why you're so confident yesterday” said Horikita

I just ignored her presence while looking out the window.

“More importantly, how did Ike-kun and Yamauchi-kun get a 60 on the subject, no forget about that. How did Sudou-kun even pass? He didn't even visit the study group that one time!” she asked

I just continued to ignore her rambling and recalled everything that happened in the past few weeks.

Flashback

When Chabashira-sensei announced the content of the exam, I then began my moves in the shadows.

First Week

3 days have passed since Sudou confronted Horikita and never showed up to the study group again.

But it doesn't really matter because even if he attended or not, it won't change my plan.
