Ayanokouji's POV

Chabashira-sensei arrived and announced that the first to take the special exam will be Class A and Class B.

"You are free to do whatever you want, whether you watch the events it's up to you" she paused

"But make sure to relax because tomorrow will be your turn."

She then left and some of our classmates also follow to watch the event, while those who remain just chat with their groups.

I then looked at Horikita and asked.

"Want to watch?"

"Based on the schedule, the starting match is Mental Arithmetic" she replied

The Schedule

"I tag along, I want to know the participants of the upper classes, especially Class A" she glanced at me, telling me how important this opportunity is.

"Then let's go"

We then rose from our seats and quickly left the classroom to head to the place where the event took place.

Timeskip

We arrived a bit late and saw the participants of Class B, Honami and a boy I didn't recognise, but Class A was nowhere to be found.

"Everyone, please bear with us, the Class A participants will arrive soon" announced Sakagami-sensei, the homeroom teacher of Class C

We then take a seat at the back, a few moments later a girl with a cane accompanied by a muscular bald guy arrives.

Due to lack of interaction with the other class, we just stay silent hoping to gather valuable information in this match.

"Okay, Class B, Ichinose-san and Hamaguichi-kun as well as Class A, Sakayanagi-san and Katsuragi-kun, take your seat" said Sakagami-sensie

After they took their seats, the match then started. Three digit numbers flew by the screen with just two minutes restriction, the participants quickly wrote the answer.

As time goes by, the numbers add up by two digits and the time drops from two minutes to one

When the match ended, the teacher then checked their paper.

"Okay Class B got 7 correct answer" he paused

I then saw Honami and her classmates happy but

"Class A got 9, which makes Class A the winner of this event"

All Class A students then clapped and shouted because of their victory.

"As expected of our leaders, right Hashimoto-kun" someone from Class A

"Yes, and were just getting started" Hashimoto replied

He then looked in our direction.

'Really?' I thought
