Ichinose's POV
“I'm sorry, I can't accept you in the council” said the President
Hearing the student council president say those words, my world suddenly crumbled. I don't understand! I still haven't shown him my capabilities and yet he just rejects me without any explanation.
“But I heard that a boy in Class D was accepted recently?”
Yeah, a student even in Class D was accepted, so why not someone like me in Class B, not qualified?
“He's different, you may now leave” he said coldly
I then hold my tears from falling before leaving the room.
Outside the Student Council
Then by coincidence, I met him. The only 1st year student who was accepted by the president, the only student despite being in Class D, gained the approval of the president, the student that just by looking at his appearance, there's nothing you can find that is extraordinary.
Questions then float my mind? Why? How come? This is unacceptable!
I then gave him a glare before leaving, and planned to meet him when the class ended.
Timeskip
AN: This happened when Ichinose already said those harsh words to Ayano.
I was clouded with rage that I didn't expect to say those words. Yes, I know that he is in Class D but it isn't right to judge a person because of that.
I was very ashamed and disappointed in myself. He may already think that I'm a cruel person.
“Raised your head” he said
I was already expecting to be criticized but when I looked at him there's no sign of hatred.
“You don't hate me?” I asked, slightly confused
“No” he replied
Why? How could such a person, after being judged by a complete stranger? Didn't carry any hatred?
After hearing his explanation, my chest then began to feel light, like a huge amount of weight was taken away from me.
Well he's not a bad person, but still I feel sorry for him so maybe I'll invite him for dinner.
“Wanna have dinner with me?” I asked
He was reluctant at first, but in the end he gave up.
I'm slightly happy then we proceed to our destination.
Maybe I will understand more of him in the future.
