"A person of value doesn't love you because of what they want you to be or do for them. They love you because your combined souls understand one another, complements each other, and make sense above any other person in this world. You each share a part of their soul's mirror and see each other's light reflected in it clearly. You can easily speak from the heart and feel safe doing so. Both of you have been traveling a parallel road your entire life. Without each other's presence, you feel like an old friend or family member was lost. It bothers you, not because you have given it too much meaning, but because God did. This is the type of person you don't have to fight for because you can't get rid of them and your heart doesn't want them to leave anyways."

Iris

"Hey there! Uh are you Ices?"

I turned around to see where the voice had come from. I saw a girl who was at least 2 inches shorter than me. She had long red hair which reached till her waist. With her sharp jawline, red full lips and sea-green eyes, I assumed she was a popular nerd that most schools didn't have. Even without any make-up, I had to admit she was pretty, not just pretty, she was gorgeous.

"Um it's Iris and yeah that's me." I said with a small smile.

"Oh thank god, I found you, now hurry up. Your next class is in 10 and it is on the other side of the building so we need to run." Said the red head in a hurry.

"Whoa-whoa hold on right there. I don't think I know you and thanks for offering but I will find my way on my own." Shit, I sounded way more rude than I should have. Her face looked someone had slapped her and now I feel guilty. UGH.

"Oh I forgot to introduce myself, I am Cindy Matthews. And I am also your guide for the rest of this week so you have to stick with me whether you like it or not." She tried to sound rude but it just sounded funny.

"Shit, I am so sorry if you thought I was rude but it just came out like that. Now hurry up, shall we?" I asked with the brightest smile I could muster.

"Fine, come on. And be a bit fast. Mrs Brown hates tardiness." she said, again trying to sound mad but she ended up sounding like someone had just snatched a chocolate from a 5 year old. I chuckled under my breath and followed her.

"You can sit with us during lunch if you like." Cindy said hesitantly.

"I would love too." I said.

As soon as I entered the class I saw the guy I met this morning, Aaron I think. Honestly I really regretted getting mad......

"Hey girl, what you waitin' for." A shrill voice said from behind me.

"Uh Mrs I am new so I don't know where my seat is." I said nervously.

"Well do see more than one empty seats, NO RIGHT! Go sit beside that handsome guy." So even teachers who are 30 years older than their students have started hitting on them. Great.

As I scanned to find who the 'handsome boy' and where the empty seat was my eyes and landed on the corner of the class beside Aaron. Yay!

"Couldn't resist me huh?" Aaron said in 'sexy voice'.

"I would have given you a nasty look but looks like you already have one." I said and searched my backpack for my books.

"Admit it you want to do a lot of nasty things with me." He said with a smirk.

"If you mean doing reactions which give out a nasty smell then well I don't have a choice." I said and slammed my books on the table louder then I meant to.

"Miss Ices do not show that attitude in my class." Shouted Mrs Brown.

"Sorry." I murmured

Mrs Brown then started the class with her annoyingly shrill voice, "Now today we have an experiment to do...." and suddenly my phone started ringing. I ended the call and kept my phone on vibrate.

But well after every call I declined a new one came within a second. "Pick the call up Ices, your boyfriend must be worried." said Aaron out of a sudden.

"Firstly I don't have a boyfriend and secondly don't call me Ices." I said sternly.

"Miss Iris Green, you are requested to present yourself in the main office." was what the announcement said on the microphone.

Great, just great.

I left the class quickly and ran to the office as fast as I could.

"Your call Miss Green." said the lady on the desk pointing to the weird looking telephone.

"I don't have the key to the locker, I'll call you as soon as I find it so stop calling me now!" I half shouted to the person on the phone. The lady on the desk gave me a sceptical look, I murmured an apology and ran back to my class. I entered the class through the back door and quickly went to my seat.

"Since you left in the middle of the class, I think that I will have to do the experiment." said Aaron in a sincere voice.

"Can't shut up for even a second, can you? And you are not doing the experiment. I am not letting you make a fool out of me."

"Okay go ahead, you can do it." Aaron signed in defeat.

As soon as I started doing the experiment, I realized that I didn't know whether I had to put sulphuric acid or hydrochloric acid. What's the worst that could happen if I put the wrong chemical right? Well, here's an advice, never put wrong chemicals in your experiment.

Instead of a smoke bomb, I messed up the whole experiment, due to which the flask got heated so much that the whole thing almost burst on Aaron's face.

Maybe I should have allowed him to do the experiment.
