The day just keeps getting better and better, doesn't it? I thought to myself. My heart was pounding too fast and my brain was working too slow. It took me a while to process what had just happened.

Iris became my lab partner...the experiment went wrong and BOOM.

Panic stricken, my hand reached my face.

"What the f...fu-fuckk?!" I screamed girlishly! Ugh, what is happening to me? I am sure that I have lost ever shred of manliness I have ever had.

"Language Mr Rodgers, Are you alright though?" Said Mrs brown, I could sense the concern in her eyes.

As if you care, I thought.

She loathed me and trust me the feeling was mutual. If my thoughts could kill, then she would have died a million times!

"Yeah I'm alright" I muttered.

"You don't look alright, so just to be sure, pay a visit to the nurses' office." Mrs Brown said.

I nodded in response.

"I- I am so so so sorry. I didn't mean to! I-I just got confused ...and then it all went...I am really very s-sorry" said a small voice. I was pretty sure it was Iris'.

"Yeah sure I believe you" I said rolling my eyes, avoiding any eye contact. I rushed out of the class and went straight to the nurses' office.

"Everything's alright" said a soothing voice, that was too familiar to me! I lifted my head to meet Raine's eyes. She was always there for me, whenever I got into a fight. Her voice comforted me everytime. I could see how much she really cares about me.

"Thank you so much Raine." I smiled at her." For everything."

"Always there." Raine winked.

From there I went straight to the boy's room and stared at the mirror. Oh god it's bad! I got burned right above my left eyebrow. It hurt but I was used to the pain but what was worse was how I looked. UGH!

The bell rang and it was finally lunch break. Finally I get to see the people who actually won't try to hit me or burn me alive.

I rushed to the cafeteria as soon as I could and looked for my gang. They were sitting where the usually do. Away from the rest of the crowd, yet they failed not to be noticed. I mean us guys are the dream of every living human. Who wouldn't want to notice us?

And I did get the answer to that question. Just as the thought had occurred to me, Iris entered the cafeteria with Cindy.

Wait is she friends with Cindy!? How is a girl as popular as Cindy doing with her?! I thought

"Hey man!" screamed James "Are you waiting for someone to spoon feed you? And today I swear if you don't finish your food, then trust me I surely will." And that was his way of making me eat.

I snapped back to reality

Yup I definitely love my bunch.

I walked towards the table and sat with them.

"I heard you got burned by the new chick today. Aww is my baby alright?" said Gwan with a bit of humour in his voice.

"Oh bruh your reputation is so down the drain! You are the hot topic right now." said the twins in unison and started laughing for no apparent reason. God they really really gotta stop doing that,

"Nothing new in it, I am always the hot topic." I smirked and said.

"On a serious note though, shouldn't you take revenge? I mean she could have practically burned you alive! You can't just let it go, can you?" said Jess.

"Oh I definitely will, you just wait." I replied with a smirk.

I'll make sure she knows who she's messing with!

"Hey dumbass, do you have any milk." I asked to noone in particular.

"There you go." said Jordan.

As he handed me the bottle of milk, I waited for Iris to get up from her seat. As soon as she got up, I quietly went behind her and threw milk at John, our schools hot headed beast.
