JUNHYUK'S POV

He unties the knot of my blindfold which rested at the back of my head and slowly takes it off to unveil the beautiful scenery that lay ahead of me.

After Seongjun took me out of his car, he proceeded to lead to up many flights of stairs. I noticed much rubble was beneath my feet, seeing as I had to dodge many thing while travelling up. I imagine it's some kind of abandoned building, but after arriving on this roof, I'm sure it is.

As I look at the skyline, and I see tall high rises, acting as the barrier between us and the sky. Behind these said buildings, lays the sun, peeking out from across the horizon, ready to set, and cover us with darkness. If you were to look the opposite direction, the sky would already be dark, but where we are, the sky shines all sorts of colours. The yellow, almost inexistant as the sun has already hid quite a bit. The yellow meshes into a light shade of pink, almost like roses. The colour is so hypnotizing that it almost smells like roses.

I turn around, breaking my gaze to glance at Seongjun, but I am brought face to face with a scene that almost brought tears into my eyes.

Seongjun standing there, a striped collared shirt, black jeans, and neon pink flip flops. His hair is gelled, styled to highlight his face.

Sexy.

In his hands, he holds a big bouquet of fresh roses. The smell of roses.

Once he noticed he had gotten my attention, he suddenly goes down on one knee, holding the roses forward.

He lets go of the of the roses with one hand, and goes to take mine. He leans forward, placing a soft kiss on the backside of my palm. I blush profusely, my natural attitude hiding away to show a more vulnerable side of me.

"S-Seon—," I get interrupted by him suddenly blurting out three words.

"I like you."

My heart stops. A feeling of intense happiness mixed with disbelief flows through my body. Seongjun is on his knee, with a bouquet, telling me that he likes me.

My mind blanks and I have nothing to say.

"Junhyuk, I get it if you don't like me like that, or if you were just playing around with all the teasing and kissing, but I want you to know, it wasn't a joke for me."

His words hit me, making me revert back to my senses to be able to form a sentence. With my mind clear, I grab his arm and pull him up towards me, wrapping my arms around him.

I can tell he's shaken by the sudden embrace but he reciprocates quickly, his arms around me as well.

"Me too," I whisper into the crook of his neck. His arms visibly tighten around me after I replied.

We stand in this embrace for what seems like hours, but I enjoyed the comfortable silence that comes with it. He lets go of me, and hands me the roses. I happily take them, a giant smile plastered on my face before smelling them.

"Thank you, Seongjun."

He signals for me to turn around.

As I do so, I see something I didn't even notice while looking in this direction when I first got to the roof. Right beside the edge of the building, facing the ethereal view, layed a picnic blanket with a big basket laying on top of the cloth along with a couple of flowers scattered around.

"Sit," he says gesturing to the picnic blanket. I go to sit down and he follows, sitting on the opposite side.

Silence followed after he sat down. I decide to speak up.
