"Hey Junnie, long time no see...,"

SEONJUN'S POV

Hearing the nickname I would only call Junhyuk come out of this strange man's mouth averts my attention completely. Meanwhile, Junhyuk seemed to have frozen up the second he heard the voice utter those words, his eyes widening at the statement.

I turn my body around, looking in the direction of said voice, and come to see a tall man. His dark brown hair is slightly messy, coming down like bangs covering his eyes slightly. His cheekbones are prominent, his eyes above them forming thin almond shapes. His gaze is notable along with the smirk his mouth was forming, looking directly at the back of Junhyuk's head. Overall, his attractiveness was a 10 out of 10. Along with his alluring face, his fit indicated that he is wealthy judging from the business casual attire. His black collared shirt with thin white stripes, and dark navy jeans just accentuate his features.

I glance back at Junhyuk, face ridden by surprise and slight fear plastered over his features. The particular look on his face brought me feelings of concern and confusion, the former as to how nervous he looks, and the latter as to why this stranger would make him feel like that.

The man takes one step forward, my attention drawn straight away as I see Junhyuk flinch from the sound of his black boot touch the pavement, somehow distinguishing it from the mix of every other person's footsteps walking around us. He takes a few more steps forward, enough so he's standing right behind Junhyuk, looking down at him as he is several inches taller.

I put my guard up as I watch everything play out, making sure to step in if anything alarming were to happen.

"Hey Junhyuk, you know it's not nice to look the other way when someone's talking to you," he says, a smile on his face as he puts his hand on Junhyuk's shoulder, making Junhyuk jump in surprise before stepping away from the man, turning around to look at him right after taking a deep breath. Though he is turned towards the man, I can see Junhyuk actively avoiding eye contact, looking to the sides of the man or just towards the ground.

"Didn't you hear what I just said?," he mutters, putting his hand underneath Junhyuk's chin, forcing him to look into his eyes, causing Junhyuk to look scared to his core, and causing me to take, hesitantly, a step forward. I assess the situation again, walking towards them quickly, pushing the man back with one hand, and taking a firm, but secure grip on Junhyuk's shoulder.

"Hey, it doesn't seem like Junhyuk wants to talk to you, so you can back off," I say, an icy cold glare directed straight at him. He only chuckles, looking from me, back to Junhyuk.

"This your new bitch, huh?," he says, directing it at Junhyuk, glancing back at me every so often.

My blood begins to boil, my grip clenching harder on Junhyuk's shoulder, trying to control myself from attacking him. He only laughs quietly at my struggle, and from my anger, I'm certain there must be a vein protruding form my forehead.

"Seoyun... s-stop it," I hear Junhyuk say quietly, nervousness obvious as it escapes his mouth. A smile doesn't leave "Seoyun's" face, which only makes me more furious.

"What're you gonna do?"

Silence follows.

"That's right. Nothing."

"You haven't changed."

With the last thing he muttered, I hear a slight sniffle to my left, only to turn to see Junhyuk with his head down, eyes watering, threatening to release tears. This sends me over the edge, taking my hand form his shoulder, petting his head comfortably before lunging forward, and planting a hard punch to his face, the momentum making him take a few steps back while clutching his face. He regains his composure quickly and in a fit of fury, punches back, the blow on my jaw making me take multiple steps to prevent myself from falling.
