You Hypnotize Me

Can you feel it?

-Few days later-

I looked at what Riker wrote on my cast ‘Never settle for anyone less than what you deserve, I’m always here for you –Love Riker’ he had noticed writing on my cast and said he also wanted to sign it. So I let him write on the other side of the cast. What he wrote was short and sweet and it meant loads to me. It will spare me from convincing myself that it would be easier to just get back together with Derek which I know is a terrible idea.

The last few days Ross and I have been texting and talking on the phone a lot. He also comes to visit me at work every day which is really cool, I love seeing him all the time. Me and Riker went to the park again yesterday. We just talked and swung on the swings the whole time. I still haven’t told Ross about Derek, when the time feels right I will. Luckily I haven’t seen or heard from him since he broke my wrist, and in two more weeks my doctor says I can get my cast off. So that’s cool,

*Ring Ring*

I pick up my phone without checking the caller.

“Hey” I talk to the phone.

“Hey Sydney, I was wondering if you wanna get together later and eat?” I hear the somewhat high-pitched voice reply, he sounded kinda nervous.

“Yeah totally Ross, I’d love to.”

“Great!” he sounded accomplished and no longer nervous, more confident “I’ll pick you up at seven, see you later!”

“Uh okay, bye Ross”

*Click*

It is four now, I figure Candy wouldn’t mind if I closed her shop a little early, we would probably only get two more customers today anyway, and one would have been Ross. I lock up and jump on the bus, I am very giddy in my seat waiting for the bus to stop at my stop. I am so excited for dinner with Ross. Once I get to my apartment complex I walk up the stairs to the second floor. I take out my keys and unlock the green door, I walk in and throw my bag on the couch and head to my room. I walk in the bathroom and turn on the shower.

*Ross POV*

Yes, yes, yes, she said yes! Oh man I can’t believe she said yes! I know I didn’t really ask her out on a date, but we are eating out together, alone, I think that is pretty close. Oh well I guess I better go and start to get ready.

I run up to my room and throw my clothes off my body and into the dirty laundry. I peak out of my bedroom and into the hallway to make sure no one is there, clear. I run the short distance across the hall and open the bathroom door to find Riker doing his hair in the mirror. I quickly turn to my right and grab the towel off the rack and cover my special area.

“Hahaha, oh dude I thought I got you to stop running around the house naked years ago,”

“Oh get out”

“Haha whatever dude.” He walks out and I stick my head out to yell back to him.

“YOU’RE JUST JEALOUS OF MY HOT BOD!” I hear him laugh in the distance. I close the door and lock it. I start running the shower and I hop in.

-6:45-

Okay, hair, check, yellow converse, check, money, check, keys, check. Well looks like I’m ready.

Once I get to the apartment complex I walk up to the second floor and look for apartment number 3, I knock on the green door and it opens up seconds later, revealing a sixteen year old girl with long pin straight blonde hair, blue eyes and pale skin. She is wearing heels, but is still much shorter than me. She has on a casual yellow dress and she is wearing hoop earrings and she has the faintest hint of mascara and some shimmery yellow eye shadow.
