I was awoken by the sound of snuffling by my ear, then a wet nose on my neck. I pushed away the source of the snuffling and giggled. "Stop that tickles." I opened my eyes to come face to face with a floppy eared hound. I gasped and backed up. The hound turned it's head and started barking. I dived for the dog when I remembered the men that were searching for me last night. I grabbed the hounds jaw and clamped it shut, but it was too late I heard the rustling of leaves to my right.

I let go of the hound who started barking again immediately after I let go, and stood up only to collapse again. My legs felt like jelly underneath me. Well this sucks. I crawled to a tree and used it to help me stand up. I could now hear shouts and footsteps behind me. I let go of the tree and started walking forward. The footsteps were in the clearing now. I took another hesitant step only to be tackled from behind. I let out an "omph" when I hit the ground as the air rushed out of me.

I had no energy to fight the gigantic weight sitting on my back so I settled for trying to see who was sitting on my back and tell them to ease off the twinkies. I felt like I was being weighed down by a pile of boulders. The man sitting on me was the same one who I had run into. He gave me a smug look and I glared at him withering under his weight.

More men ran into the clearing and ran to help hold me down. "Get off me." I wheeze. "You weigh like 800 pounds." When there was a man holding each of my limbs down. The blondie sitting on top of me slowly stood up. I sucked in breathes and started coughing. The men holding me down tied my hands and feet together and one man picked me up and slung me over his shoulder.

I was too exhausted to fight so I didn't struggle. Besides I don't think I could have walked on my own anyway. I didn't say anything as the carried me through the woods, but noted smugly that I had made it pretty far into the woods last night.

When we reached the mansion I was brought upstairs and dumped onto the same bed that I had woken up in yesterday. Apparently they weren't taking any chances this time and while most the men left the room 3 stayed to keep an eye on me. I didn't say anything instead I just stared at the wall. What did they even want with me? According to Pierce I was special but why? He had to be lying about me being royal. I mean look at me. I had a plain face, no talents, and no social life. I growled in frustration and the men jumped. I sighed and turned over.

I had been lying there for about five minutes when I heard the door open. I didn't turn over to see who it was. I heard some faint whispering behind me then footsteps and the sound of the door closing. I listened closely but I heard no other sound. Everything that had happened finally had caught up to me. I took a breathe and started crying lightly. What had I gotten myself into?

I heard fast footsteps and felt a hand on my shoulder. Apparently I wasn't alone. I stopped crying immediatly. I wasn't supposed to show any weakness. The hand on my shoulder pulled me around to face the owner. I came face to face with the person I wanted to see least right now. Pierce. I gasped and backed away from him. Pierces expression was stoic. Apparently he had forgotten that he was sort of kinda a friend who had betrayed me by hitting me on the head and knocking me out.

"What do you want?" I glare at him.

"Well. We never really got to finish our disscusion."

"YEAH BECAUSE YOU KNOCKED ME OUT!" I yell at him. "I trusted you." I say quieter and tears start running down my face. Then my expression hardens into a look of disgust."WHO THE HECK IMPRISONS A TEENAGE GIRL FOR NO APPARENT REASON?"

Pierce looks at me calmly. "Oh but we do have a reason." He smiles slightly. "Because you are to marry the king of the sky shapeshifters."

Oh....... DUH DUH DUH!
