The fight between two knights,
Was an amazing but rare sight
Many climbed on their horses,
And called themselves 'Sir'
But a quarrel with swords,
Was simply another matter
One knight with his bull helm,
Known as one of the strongest men in the realm
His strength was known worldwide,
But he was a mindless brute
Who knew how to savagely fight
The other fighter was quick,
And wore a scarlet mask on his face
When he swung his sword
He swung it with grace,
As he moved so swift
He made the fight seem more like a dance than a rift
People watched as the knight in scarlet,
Took upon the barbarian beast
But because of his thin physique,
The crowd was surprised,
As they expected the least
Finally, the huge fighter stumbled,
And fell to his knees
The crowd stood up,
And a gasp they released
The masked knight lowered his sword,
And put it to the man's throat
The man now began to tear up,
As his life came to a close
The scarlet warrior smiled,
And removed the mask
A woman she was,
Finishing her task
Her red locks fell to her back
She blinked at her opponent,
As if she pitied the sole skill he lacked
The brute tried to suck his tears in,
As he tried to look strong
The woman shook her head,
She didn't want to miss the face she yearned for so long
But she took back her sword,
And placed it in the sheath
The man simply looked at her as he stood beneath
She turned her back and sat on her black stallion
As she rode in the wind,
She knew her story would be told for a centurion.
