It took them an estimated four hours to reach Chuncheon. By the time they arrived, the sky was beginning to lighten, but the darkness was still thick enough to keep them hidden beneath the trees.
Mark parked the van deep inside the forest, far enough from the road that no one from IKON would notice it. Ahead of them stood the backyard of IKON's headquarters, exactly where Woojin had said it would be. According to him, this was the safest way in—or at least the route that was not as bad as the others.
Chenle and Jisung immediately slipped away toward the hill they had chosen earlier, a perfect spot overlooking the headquarters. From there, they would have a clear view of the grounds and enough distance to take their shots without being spotted.
As planned, Haechan and Mark would clear the main path while Jeno and Jaemin moved toward the left side of the base. None of them completely trusted Woojin's information. The former Stray Kids member had already proven that he was willing to work with IKON, and there was always a chance that he had deliberately given them false information just to lead them into a trap.
They couldn't afford to be careless.
"The coast is clear." Renjun's voice echoed through.
Jeno and Mark exchanged a quick nod before moving in opposite directions. Haechan stepped toward the back entrance, glanced at Mark, and kicked the door open without hesitation. The moment they entered, gunfire erupted through the corridor as IKON members rushed toward them. Haechan and Mark fired back, moving with practiced precision as they cleared the first wave of men. Bodies dropped one after another, leaving the hallway littered with weapons and blood while Renjun monitored everything from the other line and guided them through their earpieces.
"There are no high-ranking IKON members within range, but I scanned someone named Seunghoon. According to Woojin, he's the headquarters manager."
"Where?" Mark asked, firing another shot before quickly throwing a knife at a man trying to sneak up from the side.
"Second floor. Last room on the left. But first, you need to clear the entire hallway. And Jeno and Jaemin, stop eating those chocolates and actually fucking help them."
Laughter immediately came through the earpiece.
Haechan rolled his eyes as he reloaded his gun. Even in the middle of a raid, those two somehow had enough time to fool around.
"Hyung, should we take the shot?" Jisung asked from the hill.
"Just keep aiming. We still need information. Shoot only if he pulls out a weapon." Haechan answered.
"But I can see him hiding a gun now," Chenle reported.
Mark glanced at Haechan with a smirk. "I thought you were looking for some fun, Hyuck."
A deep chuckle escaped Haechan as he spotted the man reaching for his weapon. Instead of firing immediately, he pulled a dagger from his belt and sent it flying straight into the man's chest. He moved through the remaining men without slowing down, kicking one away before stepping over another and making his way toward the dagger. He pulled it free and wiped the blood from the blade with his sleeve.
"Chenle, fire."
The sniper didn't hesitate.
