Rubys pov

It got to about 5 oclock and I and getting ready to go to marcels and have my birthday and Im so excited to see everyone. I can hear the mikealson having a party down stairs for hope but of course they didnt want me there. I had said happy birthday to hope this morning and gave her a gift I ring that would tell me if she was in danger something she needed given that she was the first born.

I was at marcels and the party was in full swing and I was having the time of my life. Im dancing with josh when there was a whoosh noise I thought nothing of it as I was surrounded by vampires so I kept dancing till I felt a light tap on my left shoulder so I turned around only to be met with my aunt and uncle (I already knew kol was there). What's going on are they here to take me away from my family because I will fight they if I must I back away a little right in to a small group of marcel men that were clearly there to make sure I was safe and that they couldnt take me. happy birthday Elijah said as he bent down to my level. What is going on I'm scared why are you here I said probly being rude but I didnt really care they are ruining my party the uncle kol and marcel worked so hard on to make me feel loved.

Rebeca and Elijah looked shocked at what I said but not as much as what happened next as I ran thought the growing crowd and straight in to marcels arms and shouted please dont let them take me I want to stay with you forever as soon as the words rolled of I'm though it was like I slapped them in the face.

ruby sweetie we are you family Rebeca said in fake soothing voice and Elijah added on you belong with us it was what statement that I snapped at so I jumped down walked over to them which made them smile but they were wrung you are no family of mine these people around us they are family to me they care you know when I was little I wish a was special like hope so maybe you would spend so sort of time with me but then a released there was no point because the almighty mikealson only had enough love for on child and that fine you know I'm glad hope so happy and never had to know the pain that I had to endure at the hand of you. By the end I had tears running down my eyes and was barely able to breath that was the time that everyone realized I was having a panic attract worse then usually be fore I could comprehend I was in a strong set of arms
