MHA Guardians Destiny [Up for adoption]

Sludge pt.2

Izuku:"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
Ghost:"what?! What is it?!"
Izuku:"I JUST STOOD UP TO ALL MIGHT!!!!!! AND EVEN THREATENED HIM!!!!!"
Ghost:"Dear Traveler, Izuku! You scared me! As a guardian you do what you have to to protect the peace. Even if that means sticking up to your idol. My old guardian had to do it when we got revenge for the hunter leaders death. Boy that was not fun."

Izuku calms down... looks back at the bridge... looks forward...Then immediately starts panicking.

Izuku:"WAIT DID I MAKE ICE?!"

Ghost looks back and sees black and blue ice under the bridge.

Ghost:"Well I'll be damned. It looks like you reached a balance at that time. By standing up to your light with a bit of dark... you harnessed it's power. You might be a better guardian than my old one!"

Izuku smiles.

Izuku:"So that's how to harness it. Balance..."

Ghost:"What do you think could help find balance?"
Izuku:"Meditation?"
Ghost:"Well let's try it. Head into that forest."

When Izuku reaches the forest to find...  nothing.

Ghost:"Sit down. Feel the light around you... and balance it with the dark..."

Izuku harnesses the light for a swirl effect around him... but can't harness the dark.

After 20 attempts Izuku cries out in frustration.

Izuku:"ARGH! I don't get it! How did I do it earlier!?"
Ghost:"Izuku relax! You'll never find a balance if you keep getting angry!"
Izuku:"Whatever! Let's try again another day."

???:"Excuse me."

Izuku and Ghost looks over to see a boy with white and red hair.

Izuku:"Yes? What can I help you with?"
???:"it looked like you were having trouble with your ice. I understand. Would you like some help?"
Izuku:"Oh... ummm... well you see...it's not the control I have trouble with, it's getting it to come all together. You see it requires me to balance two forces at the same time to work."
???:"Let me guess. Rage and calm."
Izuku:"Sort of... it's the balance of light energy  and dark energy. Two things I can produce from my body. While light energy is easy to control and is usable in many ways, dark energy is far more powerful but can only be used in one way."
???:" Hmmm. Well. The way I see it is to focus your emotions to harness it."
Izuku:"What?"
???:"If you say that emotions need to be balanced, focus on them serving the same purpose."
???2:"SHOTO!!!! GET OVER HERE!!!"
???:"Fine! I'm sorry I must be leaving now. Good luck."
Izuku:"Thanks. Stay safe alright? Thanks for the tips!" He flashes a smile at "SHOTO"

After he leaves Izuku starts to wonder...

Izuku:"Focus them... make them serve the same purpose... eh I'll figure it out later."
Ghost:"A guardian doesn't procrastinate."
Izuku:"Didn't you tell me a story about you almost dying because the entire vanguard lost its light because of procrastination of protecting the traveler?"
Ghost:"Noooooooooo..."

Izuku and ghost laugh together.

Until they hear an explosion.

Izuku:"I recognize that explosion... that's Katsuki!"

Izuku rushes towards the sound of explosions to find heroes taken back by the sludge monster with now black and green flames coming off him.

Izuku:"What happened?!"
Rando:"This beast came and took out a bunch of heroes! Even All might stepped in, but couldn't beat it!"

Izuku was angry. He knew this would happen, but was still mad. He jumps over the police and runs towards the beast.

Officer:"Kid! Get back here!"

Izuku ignores him and pulls out his Ace shooting in between jumping off walls.
He shoots the eyes several times but it doesn't stagger the monster.

Izuku:"Ghost this thing doesn't have a weak point!"
Ghost:"this is what we have trained for! Use your training!"

Izuku surrounds himself with Solar energy to pull out his Golden Gun. But then Izuku stops.

Ghost:"What's wrong! Fire!"
Izuku:"That's Katsuki! He's trapped in there! If I fire I'll kill him! I need to find another way!"
Ghost:"Stay calm! And stay angry! Be methodical!"

Izuku spaces out... and focuses on his senses. Time seems to slow down as Izuku thinks.

Izuku:"I want to save Kachan... I have to save him... All might didn't know what he was getting in to... I'm angry with him... but I have to save Kachan... Fine... I'll use my anger... ILL USE IT TO SAVE KACCHAN!"

A sudden blast of cold air is felt all across the city. Izuku is shown in the middle of an ice aura so powerful the buildings around him start to freeze over, putting the fires out.

Izuku forms two ice scythes in his hands and throws them at the buildings to have them bounce off dealing a direct hit to the monster.
Every one is left speechless. And cold.

The monster is clearly damaged as Izuku throws three ice balls that form pillars Izuku jumps on to gain some height.

He then throws as many ice scythes as he can, freezing the monster but not Bakugo inside it.

Izuku:"Kachan! EXPLODE!"
Bakugo:"YOU DONT HAVE TO TELL ME TWICE NERD! DIIIIIIEEEEEEEEE!!"

Bakugo creates a massive explosion that shatters the monster into a million pieces.

Bakugo falls down from the monster and Izuku catches him.

Bakugo laughs.

Bakugo:"When did you get so damn powerful nerd! Oh and... thanks I guess."

Izuku smiles proudly. Until he looks back. So many people were stunned. They did just kill a man.

Izuku:"Attention everyone! That man was no longer a man! He was taken over by a force beyond our understanding! I'm sorry for scaring anyone with my power or my potential risk! Is everyone alright?"

Tons of cheering is heard for Izuku and Bakugo   as Bakugo holds his friends hand and whispers:

Bakugo:"I'm sorry. Thanks for saving me after everything I did nerd."
Izuku:"That's what heroes do. Just promise to be better, and you'll make a great hero. I know you will."

Bakugo smiles.
