Tap, tap, tap, tap, tap...... My foot just kept tapping against the floor. I stared at my phone as if it was going to come to life. I got up from my stool, pacing back and forth; biting my nails.

'I should stop biting my nails'

I huffed frustrated, I looked around the room for a distraction. I laid down on my bed, Wrapping the covers around me.

"Its to hot. Dam" I said irritated before unwrapping myself and getting off my bed. Walking to the bathroom I grabbed my water cup; Turning on the faucet I filled the cup and took a big gulp. Tapping my fingers on the counter top. 

RING!!!

My heart pounded faster, "Finally!" I laughed before rushing to my phone. I didn't even look at the number I just clicked answer. "Hello?!" I smiled.

"Hey Meme, Ya busy?" Maries voice made my smile drop. Not who I expected. I sat down softly on my stool. "Oh... hey Marie. Nope not at all." I bit my lip. 

"Good because you have a dinner date tonight." She said bluntly. I blinked then rubbed my leg, "Um excuse me?" I got up slightly, uncomfortable.

"I said. That you have a date tonight. With Robert Magnot." "Magnot? What kind of last name is- Wait, a blind date? Come on Marie." I laughed humorously. "Ashley, you have'nt been out since... well forever. Since you're break up I suppose. You need to get out. Its tonight at 8, at Angel Walk. K?" 

I pulled the phone away from my ear for a second putting my head back. Then put it back, "Yeah okay, we'll see." "Kk meme, if you don't want to go, stand him up like a boss. Who cares ya know?" "Yep got it. Thanks." I went back to the bathroom to take a sip of my water.

"Okay I'll send you a text with the number and address. Bye!" Then she hung up "Bye" I said to no one in particular. Two seconds later she sent the text message she promise. I exited out and closed it down. 

"Tv sounds WAY more entertaining. No more waiting up for my friends text messages." I grumbled to myself, I went to my mini fridge took a soda out and sat on my bed. I grabbed my remote and looked inside my drawer to steal my chips. Then I turned on the tv. 

Documentaries on pyramids. "Nope"

ABC News "Nah"

Reality TV "Fine Whatever" I threw my remote and snacked on a chip. "Its a very exciting day here in New York. Its very crowded here at Angel Walk street, in front of the Angel Walk Cafe. A large expensive cafe, you can only get in if you reserve it ahead of time. Number beside screen" 

"Ha good thing I'm not going." I cracked open the root beer and took a swig. "Epic MA is in town!" I spit my soda out, realizing how stupid that was I wiped the soda stains off my shirt. I couldn't believe it, my mouth was wide open. 

Epic MA is the model agency where Brandon works. He rarely works here, he told me that he wouldn't be in town for a while. I added him to the group chat anyways, so he can hear what will be going on. Brandon and I talk sometimes but it sorta hard to talk because I miss him and still love him. I knew this was going to be hard from the start. 

"Epic MA is going to be here for a big shoot coming up. They'll be at the restaurant later tonight. We'll be right back."  She added before they went to commercial. 

'Whoa'  I unlocked my phone, my home screen popped up showing my graduation photo of all my friends. I smiled as I saw Brandon and I together. I missed him beyond understanding. I realized I was unfocused and went back to what I was doing, I opened my messages, to Maries text
