Chapter 9 : Get Stronger!

The morning came and Wayne was ready to receive his training from Joy.

Joy speaks
"Wayne the most important thing for you to learn is that you need to channel a huge amount of chi in your body"

Wayne replied
"Chi ?"

Joy replied
"Watch closely"

Joy was planning to demonstrate how to channel chi, She concentrated hard enough to channel a huge amount of chi.

Wayne can't believe what he's seeing, there's aura emanating from Joy's body. Aura that sends chill in his bones.

Joy speaks
"This is chi"
"Even a small amount of chi can cause a lot of damage"

Joy proceeded to demonstrate as she applied a small amount of aura in her finger. She started on pointing the aura in the forest. When she touched a tree, it was destroyed instantly, and 5 other trees behind it as well.

Wayne was shocked and started asking questions

Wayne asked
"How did you manage to channel it?"

Joy answered
"You need to feel it"
"You're no regular human, don't worry you'll be able to channel it"
"Just concentrate"

Wayne started concentrating intensely. Joy left him alone as he concentrates.

Joy stated
"Call me when you can channel it"

Meanwhile the team was eavesdropping as Joy notices them from a far.

Joy stated
"You guys can stop eavesdropping now"

Zim scratched his head and the other members laughed

AA asked
"Do you think he can channel it?"

Joy answered
"He can"

Zac asked
"What made you so sure?"

Joy answered
"He's done it before"

Everyone was shocked but they soon realized when that happened

Joy's thoughts
'In terms of Generation X channeling chi was easy'
'But he's no generation X'
'He's no regular human either'
'He did it against 15th'
'He can definitely do it again'

Meanwhile

Wayne concentrated even harder and his thoughts became clearer.

Wayne's thoughts
'I felt chi before'
'When I was fighting 15th'
'He was able to use it as well'
'I was able to use it as well'
'The trigger last time was my rage'
'But this time'
'What's my trigger'

Wayne concentrated deeply as he was like a clam river steadily flowing.

Wayne's thoughts
'I don't want to lose anymore'
'I don't want to be weak anymore'
'Stronger'
'A lot stronger'
'To protect everyone

The ring reacts to his masters wishes, unlocking the passage towards controlling his Chi.

Joy felt it as the air grew fiercer, everyone felt it. They rushed in the middle of the forest to see what was going on.

They arrived in the middle of the forest when chills started to run down everyone's body.

'The fuck is this!!!!'

Zim thoughts
'He's doing it'

Cassee thoughts
'In only a few hours!'

Austin thoughts
'He's producing that much!'

Carmela thoughts

Law thoughts

AA is speechless

Raven thoughts

Joy's thoughts

With a simple instruction he manages to produce an enormous amount of aura. Black Aura is non existent in Generation X. This is the first time they've laid their eyes on such a spectacle

Joy walks in with enormous chi emanating from her body.

Joy uttered some words to Wayne
"Can you fight with it?"

Wayne answered
"I can barely move"

Joy said
"You can try though"
"Come at me!"

Wayne instantly closed in and he's about to throw a punch. Joy was shocked she didn't expect him to come at her at Mach speed.

Joy's thoughts
'Fast!'
'But...'

Before Wayne manages to land a blow he passed out. Channeling chi is still taxing from the body. He channeled a large amount no wonder he passed out.

Everybody was speechless.

After a few hour Wayne finally woke up.

Joy asked
"How you holding up ?"

Wayne answered
"Urgh... my body's aching"

Joy praises him for the first time
"You did good"
"Now you can get stronger"

Wayne smiled.

Wayne's thoughts
'Finally, I'm at the starting line huh'

Joy ordered
"Chi is taxing on the body"
"You need to control it properly"
"You need to know how to channel it like you were breathing"

Wayne's answer
"Yes ma'am"

Joy answered
"Since you don't have a weapon yet."
"Zim and Zac will be teaching you how to fight"

Wayne asked
"Why are they the one teaching me?"

Joy patted Wayne's head
"I need to head south but I'll be back soon"

Wayne stated
"Be careful"

Joy stated
"I expected you to be stronger by then"

Wayne answered
"Don't worry"
"I may even beat you when you get back"

Joy chuckled
"Not happening"

He waved bye as she began to head south
