The Resistance

Joy finally arrived at the Southern City, hideout of the so called resistance. She came here to talk about the attack that will happen to take place 3 months from now.

Joy easily sneaked up on all the guards. Only the general knows of Joy's existence, knowing that the other members may not approve of the resistance joining hands with a generation X.

**conversation started**

Joy said
"It's been a while Wilfred"

Wilfred replied
"Finally the time has come hasn't it?"

Joy said
"Indeed"
"But we still don't know the capabilities of the high rankers"

Wilfred answered
"I know"
"All of these hard work"

"We need to win"
"No..."
"We have to"

Joy Responded
"Still got that will of yours huh"

Wilfred stated
"If I don't have this"
"We already lost"

Joy stated
"We'll keep the end of the bargain"
"You must keep yours"

Wilfred stated
"Yes"
"As promised"
"The head of the high rankers are yours"

Joy answered
"Good"
"In return"
"You'll lead this country"

Wilfred asked with curiosity
"Who's the guy that fought 15th"

Joy chuckled
"It's a secret"
"You'll know soon"

Wilfred laughs
"You're still the same haha"

Joy answered
"Look who's talking"

The two friends laugh as they talked about the impending events that will take place in this country. The final stand of the resistance and the rankers. Who will win ? Who will prove superiority?

Meanwhile, as Cassee rushed her return to Northern city. Before even entering the Northern city, she stopped on her tracks as chills where sent to her spine.

Cassee's thoughts
'What is this ?!'
'Is there a high ranker invading'
'The aura is piercing my skin!'
'I give to go in'

Cassee rushed to Northern forest, even faster than before. Focusing every Chi she has on her legs as she run.

Cassee's thoughts
'Faster!'
'I need to make it'
'Don't die on me everyone'

Cassee run through the forest with speed that matches even high rankers. She's using a lot of aura in order to catch up with what's happening inside the forest. Eventually she made it.

She made it but she were shocked as she saw everyone on her team excluding joy having a relaxed time.

Cassee's asked
"What is happening?"

Carmela answered
"Oh...Hi Cassee"
"Hm...What's wrong you look pale?"

Cassee's mad Response
"What's going on ?!"
"Can't you guys feel those ominous aura?!"

Raven answered
"Calm down sheeeesh"
"You look stressed"
"Sit down first"
"We'll explain"

Cassee sat down waiting for an explanation. She was given tea by Law so she could calm her nerves.

Law explained
"You must be feeling that aura aren't you?"

Cassee answered in shock
"You guys..."
"I rushed here because I even felt it outside the city"

Law answered
"If you're calm now, we can show you"

It took a full minute for her to calm her nerves. Eventually she calmed down.

Casseee answered
"I'm ready!"

Law answered
"Okay come with us"

While they were walking he started to explaining.

Law stated
"That aura you felt didn't come from a high ranker."

Cassee was shocked as she respond
"What?!"

Cassee's thoughts
'A non high ranker can produce this much aura'
'This is impossible'

Law stated
"It came from him"

They arrived to where Wayne was meditating. Law quickly pointed out Wayne's position.

Cassee's was shocked
"How is he generating that much aura?!"

Zac notices Cassee was there.

Zac asked
"Oh hi Cassee "
"What's wrong?"

Cassee answered
"You guys seemed okay with this"
"Can someone explain what's really going on"

Law shrugged his shoulder as if telling Zac that he's the one who should explain. Since he's the one who's teaching Wayne.

Zac explains
"It's been a week since you saw Wayne right?"

Cassee answered
"Yes"
"I left earlier to scout the rankers"

Zac answered
"I see"
"That's why you're shocked"
"Listen carefully"

.
"Wayne was training under me for a week. He was able to emit aura and chi before we even began training. We were fighting yesterday, when I wanted to test how will he respond if I wanted to kill him. Shockingly he kept up with me, he was emitting an even stronger aura at that time."

Cassee Responded
"An even stronger aura than this?!"

Zac answered
"Yes"
"At some point he was able to be faster and eventually trying to kill me as well. Before he even deal with the final blow, I was planning to equipped my armor in order to survive."

Cassee answered
"He pushed you that far?"

Zac answered
"Yes"
"He's growing at an alarming rate"

Cassee's thoughts
'It's only been 2 weeks since 15th's attack'
'It's only been a week since he woke up'
'It's like he's a completely different person'

Cassee stated in fear
"A .....monster"

Zac laughs as he grinned, he understood why joy wanted to let this man be on this team. His potential to go from an even higher ceiling is endless.

Zac asked as if he was concern

Zac asked
"So Why did you comeback?"
"Did something came up?"

Cassee remember the reason why she rushed back.

Cassee answered
"Yes!"
"15th is going to attack Northwestern City!"

Zac sighed
"So they're moving faster huh"

Zac didn't notice but after Cassee said 15th, Wayne was already listening.

Wayne butts in
"So we'll fight him right"

Zac was shocked as he heard Wayne speaks.

Zac answered
"No not yet"

Wayne irritatingly answered
"Why?!"
"This is the reason why I've got stronger!"
"To have my revenge!"

Zac sighed
"You don't have a weapon yet!"
"Don't be an idiot"
"That's not the real reason you wanted to get stronger right?"

Wayne remembered that he wanted to protect everyone that's why he wanted to get stronger. He's almost engulfed by rage but eventually he calmed down.

Wayne asked
"So what are we gonna do about it?"

Zac's thoughts
'He calmed down huh'

Everyone was watching Wayne's rage, they readied themselves just to stop Wayne but eventually they calmed down.

Zac stated after thinking
"Since Joy is not here, I'll lead the team for the meantime"
"Here's my order"
"Listen up!"
