Chapter XVIII : Area 51

Joy arrived at Northern City after a day. She immediately went to where her team was. She saw Wayne sleeping while snoring like a boar. She approached everyone, she saw them eating and started to join them.

Joy asked
"How is he?"
"How are you guys?"

Zac responded
"We're fine don't worry"
"And as for him, he's doing great"
"Cassee's been treating him ever since we arrived"

Joy sighed
"That's good"
"You got me worried"

Law answered
"It's not like we'll lose you know"
"Except for Cassee, anyone here could've killed 15th if we wanted to"

Joy stated
"It was a good choice leaving Wayne to handle 15th"

Zac chuckled
"Hehe"
"I wanted to see what he can do"
"Plus I think that what he showed us wasn't his real strength"

Carmela interrupted
"We honestly can't see what limits he has"
"The most surprising thing was the black flame he emits"
"We've never seen anything like it"

Zim said
"It would even magnify if he managed to find a weapon of his choice"

Raven agreed

Austin said
"I'm confident with my speed"
"But what I saw yesterday was beyond me"
"He was faster than most of the high Rankers"
"I think the only who can match him in speed here are you three"

Austin was referring to Joy, Zac and Law.

Joy started to tell them her plan.

Joy stated
"Listen up guys"

Everyone started to listen.

Joy continued
"I'm going on a trip with Wayne"
"As I said before, Wayne is different from us."
"We choose our weapon"
"But in his case"
"The weapon needs to choose him"

Everyone was shocked and Zac started to question her.

Zac asked
"Where are you going to gather a weapon that will choose him?"
"There are a lot of weapons in the world"
"It will take you decades to find the right one"

Joy responded
"Regarding the weapons it's already gathered"
"Everything is in that place"

Zac asked
"You don't mean..."

Joy confirmed
"Yes the Ruler of Destruction's territory"
"Area 51"

Zac stood up in anger
"Are you crazy?!"
"That place is where it all began!"

Joy stated
"Calm down Zac"

Joy started to explain
"That place has been destroyed by the ruler of destruction"
"Ever since the birth of Generation X"
"Everything else in Area 51 has been disregarded"
"It's possible that what we're looking for is there"

Zac sighed
"Looks like I can't stop you"
"So when will you leave"

Joy answered
"Tomorrow"

Zac said
"Okay we'll take care of things here while you're both gone"

Hours has passed and finally Wayne woke up.

Wayne's thoughts
'Urgh my body's aching'

Cassee worriedly saw Wayne trying to stand up. She rushed to help him.

Cassee said
"You shouldn't rush things you know"

Wayne responded
"I'm okay"
"Thank you for taking care of me"

Cassee responded
"No problem"
"It's my job as the team's healer"

Wayne chuckled but eventually stopped when he saw Joy walking towards him. Joy patted him in the head.

Joy said
"You did a good job"
"You've gotten stronger"

Wayne smiled at Joy as if to confirm that he really has gotten stronger.

Joy eventually said
"Prepare yourself"
"We're going somewhere"

Wayne was confuse
"Where are we going?"

Joy answered
"We're going to find you a weapon"

Wayne asked
"A weapon?"

Joy answered
"Yes a weapon"
"A weapon that will help you magnify your aura"

Wayne excitedly asked
"Where are we going?"

Joy answered
"Area 51"

The morning came and everything was ready. Wayne was wrapped with bandages and he wore a black hoodie.

Zac said
"Be careful"

Law said
"Come back soon"

Zim just gesture a thumbs up in front of them

Austin said
"Make sure you succeed"

Carmella and Raven just waved them goodbye.

Cassee's thoughts
'It hasn't been that long since he fought 15th will he be okay'

Wayne notice the worried face of Cassee and he starts to pat down her head.

Wayne said
"Don't worry"
"I'll be fine"

Cassee eventually said
"You better come back"

Wayne smiles in respond

Joy said
"You ready ?"

Wayne responded
"Yes"

She hold Wayne's hands, Joy has the power to teleport everywhere in the world but she can only used it 5 times in a month. She can't used it continuously.

Joy stated
"Transport"

Joy and Wayne disappears in front of everyone and appeared in front of a destroyed facility. Wayne can feel it, something is calling him.

Wayne asked
"Can we head inside?"

Joy looked at him in shocked and thought
'Is it calling him?'

Joy said
"Let's go!"
