A regular beep. But that was all. It all sounded pretty blurry but incrededibly loud. Found it almost better when I was gone. Suddenly, everything fell silent. No more beeps and no voices. Just me and the wonderful silence. Even the sound of the win...
The tears welled up in my mother's eyes, which she wiped away, but more tears welled up in her eyes. Desperate, she hugged me tight and cried into my shoulder. It hurt a little. Probably came from the accident I supposedly had. Or I just had a hangover.
After sitting motionless for a few seconds, I hugged my mother back, but I was still quite unemotional. And although I wasn't really feeling anything as I was still getting used to all the thoughts and memories in my head, a tear rolled down my cheek. I sobbed. The blonde-haired, Katsuki, immediately looked at me. I could see fear on his face and I didn't even know why. After holding uncomfortably long eye contact to him, I closed my eyes to interrupt.
>>Young Midoriya<<
I opened my eyes. The man in the white smock looked at me seriously.
>>I hate to interrupt you two, but I would have to examine you a little more.<<
My mother pulled away from me and I looked at her.
>>Can we stay here while..?<<
The man sighed and looked back and forth from me and my mother. >>Okay, I agree. But it's important that you don't stress the boy too much right now. At least there is still a slim chance that Midoriya could fall back into a coma again.<<
I looked a little nervous at my mother, who nodded.
The man looked at me again and raised his eyebrows questioningly, which is why I nodded too.
>>Okay. Then please open your mouth wide now.<<, he said in a pleasant voice.
The man knelt down in front of me and I opened my mouth.
The man put a wooden stick on my tongue and felt around my mouth with it. I had to choke and pushed the doctor's hand aside. As if this reaction mattered, the man wrote it down.
After the man had examined my mouth, nose and ears more closely, he finally wanted to check my heartbeat.
I lay on the bed with my shirt rolled up, the man groping my muscles with a cold iron.
>>Izuku..?<<, I heard the female voice whisper again.
My head snapped up automatically, but was pushed back down by the man.
>>Yes..?<<
>>Who can you still remember?<<
My eyes widened, my pupils got smaller.
I looked at Katsuki, who was still standing there facing away from me, but was looking at the floor with interest.
>>I'm... not so sure..<<
Why is she asking that right now..?
>>Think, Izuku, please! It's important to me..<<
>>I..<<
I closed my eyes and tried to imagine my past as hard as I could. And suddenly, an image popped into my head.
