Chapter 1: The Day Where It All Begins!

[Flashback]

"Come on, (b/n)!" a hyper (Name) exclaimed. "This way! Let's go, let's go, let's goooo!" She ran towards Route 1 with her brother chasing after her. Pikachu squealed from his position, hanging onto (Name)'s head as she raced to the path.

"(Name), slow down, you'll trip and fall," (B/n) sighed. He raced after his excited sister. "Also, we're here to catch wild Pokemon to fill our Pokedexes and help Grandmother and Mother with their research. You can battle people later-"

"Ah, I tripped and fell!" (Name) said, her face slamming down to the dirt as her foot tripped over a rock. Pikachu also fell face-first, too. Nevertheless, she brushed off the dirt on her face and clothes. Good thing this wasn't really formal clothes. Plus, she had an extra change of clothes. No problem.

"(B/n) is right, (Name)," Rotom Dex huffed. "We're here to catch Pokemon to research and add to your team. Right now, you can only have 2 more to your team, unless you send some to your boxes. 3 more with (B/n)."

Now then, who was this young girl named (Name)? Well, this is (Name) (Last name)! A Pokemon Trainer who is the granddaughter of a famous Pokemon professor and the daughter of the assistant! Who is (B/n)? He is (Name)'s brother! A Pokemon Trainer who wants to become a professor like his grandmother. Traveling with them is Rotom Dex and their Rotom phones.

Now, what was (Name)'s current team? It was Pikachu, of course, then Snorlax, then Gastly, and Rockruff. What about (B/n)'s? It was, obviously, Eevee, then Clefairy, and Machop.

"So, where shall we start looking?" (Name) asked, looking around.

"She's so into it now..." (B/n) and Rotom Dex sweat dropped. Nevertheless, the two followed after her. Suddenly, the running girl came to a stop?

"What's wrong?" (B/n) asked. His sister pointed up to the setting sun. "Oh..." the siblings stared.

There was a majestic bird creature right there. "Oh..." the siblings said as they kept staring.

It was the color of the rainbows and radiated a beautiful, warm aura. "Ohh..." The siblings felt the warm surge coming from the bird.

It was huge, and a rainbow was right there. "OH?!" they gaped.

It was Ho-Oh. "HUUUUH?!" they screamed. "IT'S HO-OH!" Suddenly, before any of them could say anything, Ho-Oh took off. It left a rainbow feather that landed in (Name)'s palm. It glowed with a beautiful aura.

"What the..." she stammered.

"Did that just happen?" (B/N) asked, pointing at the direction Ho-Oh flew. "Does that mean... Ho-Oh likes you? Like, it found an interest in you?" he asked (Name).

"I..." she stuttered out. "I..." The brother and floating Pokedex waited for her answer. "I...!" She realized what to say. "I don't know!" she declared with Pikachu agreeing right with her. "I have no idea if Ho-Oh likes me, but I know one thing for sure- I AM GOING TO BATTLE HO-OH!"

"WHAT?!" Rotom Dex and (B/N) screamed. "What do you mean you don't know? And what do you mean that you're going to battle Ho-Oh? Ho-Oh's a legendary Pokemon!"

"That's the point!" she grinned.

"I'msorrywhat?"

"I want to battle Ho-Oh because it's a legendary Pokemon," she explained. "If Ho-Oh's a legendary Pokemon, then it must be really strong, right? Well, I want to get stronger, and to get stronger, I have to fight stronger opponents, right? That's what I will do." She took a deep breath.

"I WILL BATTLE HO-OH AND WIIIIIIIIN!" she declared, using the loudest voice she could. "NOT JUST THAT, I WILL BECOME....

"...A POKEMON MASTER!"
