The Love of Blood and Magic

jeno walked through the crowded corridors. Students flooded them, all of them heading toward the dining hall. They were called there because, well... jeno didn't really know why, all he knew is the headmasters called them down. The teacher looked nervous when he told them. 

flashback to when the teacher told them

"alright class please take out your textbooks and turn to page 342," kun said writing something down on the chalkboard at the front of the class. 

there was a russleing that came throughout the class as they moved to take out their books and find the right pages. in jenos case that meant flipping one page at a time until he got to the right page(anyone else done this? no. just me? okay). History was always a boring class, Professor kun rambled on about how the satan and his demons had almost destroyed the world at one point but the angels had fought back and that hadn't happened. And something about how normal humans expanding their city's made it harder for the elves to find homes (i don't know what this really has to do with history but there ya go).  Anyways jeno was sitting in class flipping through his textbook when a loud screech rang through the classroom.

"sorry about that," the voice of one of the headmasters, taeyong, echoed through the room "can everyone meet in the dining hall for this important message."

and with that everyone surged up from their seats and tried to push out the door to the hall. 

*back to when jenos in the hall*

jeno pushed past a student who was standing in the middle of the corridor, trying to hurry so he wouldn't be one of those unlucky people who has to stand along the edge of the wall. Jeno eventually made it to the dining hall and found an empty seat next to lucas and mark. 

"So do you know what this is about?" lucas asked loudly causing several creatures to look at them. 

"No i dont," mark said "Now can you shut the fuck up lucas."

"Maybe," lucas smirked at mark, which just made mark angerier. 

"Can you two not argue for once in life," jeno said.  

The two werewolves both grumbled out a reluctant 'yes' and went back to staring at the headmasters/teachers table at the front of the dinning hall. Jaehyun stepped up to the stand in front of the headmasters/teachers table. 

"I'm sorry we had to invite you all here on such a short notice, but me and taeyong have gotten notice of, um, troubles, in the school," jaehyun said, paused then continued "one of our students, Huang Renjun, has gone missing, without notifying anyone." 

he paused letting people disgust the information. A murmur ran throughout the room as people started talking to each other about this piece of information that had just been handed to them. but jaehyun wasn't done just yet. 

Jaehyun cleared his throat to get everyone's attention again then spoke "there has also been sightings of a chimera around the building, so if anyone sees anything suspicious please let me or taeyong know immediately."

"was the chimera spotted inside the school?" someone asked and jeno turned around to see an angel with a baby-like face, blondish hair, and white, feathery wings protruding from his back. 

Jeno could see that jaehyun was hesitating to tell the truth. "Yes it was," he finally said.  

this sent the school into a panic and they started loudly talking and shouting. Jeno overheard some people talking that were sitting near him. 

"I knew that something was up, the hallway to my dorm rooms was blocked off by a wall that hadn't been there before," a male vampire said trying to impress a girl.

"Really? Did you see what created it?" she asked intrigued. The boy nodded yes. 

Jeno rolled his eyes. If he had really seen what had created it he probably would have been crying for his mother. And jeno did not want anyone to find out what happened after. Even though lucas and jaemins friend haechan already knew. Jeno turned back to the front to listen to the headmasters finish up talking, he wasn't really listening he was staring off to a place on the other side of the room where jaemin was sitting. Taeyong closed up the speech he was giving and dismissed everyone to go on break for the rest of the day. That got a cheer out of everyone. Well, almost every one. Mark and lucas were glaring at each other, again, determined to finish what they had begun before. They were walking out of the hall when jeno pulled mark into a crevice in the wall. 

"What are you and lucas arguing about?" he asked.

"He's keeping something from me, something he really doesn't want me knowing," mark growled "he told me it was about you." 

~sorry i haven't been active in a while, school been keeping me busy and my dog died so i've been struggling with that. Anyways, i hope you enjoyed this chapter! Also i ordered superm albums and im so excited for them to come(Goodbye bank account! lmao) I'll try to update soon! ~
