After being bested by Sweeney and giving him the five pounds he owed, Pirelli beat the living snot out of his assistant, and Jillian inhaled sharply in compassion with every hit.

"Suppose it's me gentle heart, but I do hate to see a boy treated like that." Mrs. Lovett said as she put Sweeney's leather jacket on his shoulders.

"Poor thing!" She murmured as she came by Sweeney.

Kris had went back to Hyde Park to search for Anthony and Adam, while Lizzie stuck by Mrs. Lovett and Jillian. Joshua's group had already gone to the grocers.

"Congratulations, Mr. Todd. May I ask you, sir, do you have your own establishment?" A man came up to Sweeney and his entourage.

"He certainly does. Sweeney Todd's Tonsorial Parlor, above my Meat Pie Emporium in Fleet Street." Mrs. Lovett said.

Sweeney walked ahead to Beadle Bamford, Jillian trailing behind him in fear and disgust.

"I thank you, sir. You are a paragon of integrity."Sweeney complimented the official.

"Well, I try to do my best for my friends and neighbors. Your establishment is in Fleet Street, you say?"Bamford asked.

"Yes, sir," Sweeney answered.

"Then, Mr. Todd, you shall surely see me there before the week is out." Beadle turned to go.

"You will be welcome, Beadle Bamford. And I can guarantee to give you, without a penny's charge, the closest shave you will ever know." Sweeney promised.

Beadle Bamford tipped his hat and went his way, eyeing Jillian and smiling at her. Jillian shuddered, hiding behind Sweeney.

"Come on, love." Mrs. Lovett sensed Jillian's unease and they all left. Needless to say, Jillian was relieved when they got back to the pie shop and helped Sweeney set up shop upstairs.

When Kris went to Hyde Park, she didn't see Anthony or Adam there. Instead, she found them outside of Judge Turpin's house again, peeking at Johanna, and Destiny.

"What are you two doing?! You heard what the Beadle said—he'll blow out your brains if Judge Turpin sees you again!" Kris hissed silently startling them both.

"'Tis a risk I'm willing to take, Kristina. I want to help her. She seems so sad and lonely." Anthony answered softly.

"I want to help too. She's beautiful, but Anthony saw her first." Adam said. "And...I'm not ready for something like that."

"Well, all right. But you better know what-" Kris started to say.

CLANG!

All three looked and saw that there was a key on the ground. They all looked up to see Johanna smiling down to them. They went away quickly as Johanna quickly shut her window at Destiny's quick urging.

"That was close. The first time, I heard he whipped them. Next time, they might not be so lucky. But I'm so glad that he's gonna help you get up outta here." Destiny said to Johanna. "You don't need to be marrying that judge."

"It's true. He did ask me, and I was repulsed. I fancy this sailor more than I do my guardian." Johanna confessed.

"You like him? I say go get him, lady!" Destiny giggled.

Back at the pie shop and barber shop, Jillian looked around for something to do, while Lizzie twiddled her thumbs. Sweeney was busy sharpening his razor, while Mrs. Lovett brought a chair for Sweeney to have his customers sit down.

"It's not much of a chair, but it'll do. It was me poor Albert's chair. Sit in it all day long, he did, after his leg gave out with the gout." Mrs. Lovett said.
