Narrator's point of view
Violette woke up earlier than the rest in her room, she wanted to wake up Hermione but she looked peaceful and for the record it was still so early. So she showered quickly and headed out to take a walk outside the castles, close enough to the great hall so she would easily slip in for breakfast.
Her eyes roamed around the green grass while she walked on the dirt trails. The atmosphere in England is much more different in France where she used to live and have fun with no problems. Now she has a fear of her biological father reaching out to her and her mother.
It broke her heart when Scarlet told her the truth on why they ran away from here in the first place. She grew furious at her father whom she never even met and probably will since everyone she knew also knows her father which was ridiculous to her.
She saw Cedric walking to her with a smile on his face. For a reason he dressed up nicely and did his hair neatly for the pictures later-on.
"Well someone looks well dressed." Violette said fixing the boy's tie that was not properly tied.
Cedric laughed while he stood still, "We have to get our pictures taken and an interview from Rita Skeeter." He said and the girl nodded pulling his tie upwards making him choke. "Gentle will you?" He joked when Violette's eyes widen in shock when he did so.
"I am so sorry." She said and later on both laughed. As the two did so, a flash blinded them on their side making them stop and look what happened.
"Ah, A Champion from Hogwarts in love. Such a story." Rita said and walked away with her floating pad and paper on the follow.
Violette sighed, "So much for keeping my name a secret huh?" She said and Cedric apologized for that. "No it's alright, people will know eventually."
"Breakfast might be served right now, You coming?" Cedric asked and she nodded while the two walked their way back to the castle and to the great hall.
The two talked while on their way, Cedric found multiple chances on teasing Violette about what he saw yesterday by the goblet of fire. Violette was honest to Cedric when she said to him that Hermione peaked her interest. The feeling of Violette around Hermione only interested her and made her question herself if doing that would be better. Ofcourse, Cedric encouraged her to keep doing whatever she wanted to do.
Many eyes landed on the pair when they entered the great hall, their laughs echoed inside the room. But they didn't even notice the stares from people because they didn't even care.
"I see my company. Goodluck on that interview." Violette said and Cedric thanked her when they went their seperate ways.
Violette went her way to the Golden Trio who had their eyes set on her the moment she walked inside the doors with Cedric Diggory. She took a sit besides Harry and she faced Hermione.
"Morning." Violette greeted and they did as well but not matching their energy. "Aren't you guys gloomy today?" She said with a hint of her teasing them.
Harry chuckled shaking his head, "No we just- aren't exactly morning people. Less than I can say for you, Hermione told me she woke up and you were already gone." He started and Violette nodded looking over Hermione who tried to hide her flushed faced with a book.
"I rather walk early in the morning so I can start my day." She shrugged like it was no big deal. Ron looked at her like a mad-man on high making Violette laugh. "My mother is like that so I kind of adapted to it as well."
They ate while they spoke of the triwizard tournament. Harry tried to find a subtle way on asking Violette her name but he was never one to handle a conversation.
