Narrator's point of view

Cedric and Violette walked around the castle, Talking after days of the Ball. The girl tried helping Cedric of the egg for the second task but she had no clue of what an ear screeching pain would be helpful for them. The two grew more close of the days they spent together and the students would always suspect them as an item but were wrong, ofcourse.

The Hufflepuff continuously asked of what happened when Violette went to take Hermione back to the dormitories. Innocent, she said nothing but the smile grew on her face said otherwise for Cedric. For the least, it was an innocent night of talking and cheering a specific Gryffindor up so she can sleep soundly at night.

"Many are saying it's dangerous, the second task." Violette spoke, the scarf around her neck almost mumbled out her words but Cedric heard. It was cold and windy today.

"Yeah I heard as well. Do you think it will be worse than the dragons?" Cedric asked seriously, his heart beat rising from the feeling of nervousness on the upcoming task. It was only a few days, 2 tops.

"I surely hope not. Even if it is, you can do it." Violette cheered and the boy laughed thanking her for the enthusiasm. Once they entered a bridge, they saw Harry and Hermione leaning over the ledge.

"I didn't have the chance to thank Potter. Can you accompany me?" Ced asked and she nodded while they walked their way over there. She clasper her hands together and rubbed it to create heat, the wind was ridiculously cold. "Potter! You have a second?"

The two bestfriends turned around and Harry nodded. Violette excused herself and went besides Hermione while the two talked in a close distance.

"What was that about?" Hermione asked curiously and looked over her shoulder for a split second and went back to lookimg at Violette.

"Just Cedric thanking Harry for tipping him of the dragons." She shrugged and squinted her eyes to the scenery in front of her. "By the way, I haven't seen you yesterday. Just on classes and in the great hall."

Hermione nodded and felt a little on the edge after the sudden point she received. "I was studying in the library." She said half the truth and Violette could see it. She raised on eyebrow at the girl and She gave up. "With Viktor Krum."

"Really?" Violette asked, a little intrigued but with a sense of bitterness. "Didn't know you two were a thing."

"No we are most certainly not." Hermione said quickly than normal. Violette grinned and nodded trying to hide her pleased smile. "He's
just a friend and I already have someone else in mind." The last bit she lowered her voice that Violette didn't quite heard.

"What was that?" Violette questioned, the girl besides her shook her head saying 'nothing'. "Have you and Ron sort out your problems yet?"

Hermione shook her head sighing, "That idiot won't speak to me since that night. Real mature, I tell you."

Violette laughed trying to suppress it but failed miserably for Hermione hit her on the arm. "Hey, I helped you get to our room a few days ago!"

"And I thank you for it." Hermione pointed at her face making both laughed. The two looked adorable from where Cedric and Harry was standing and they just watched their bestfriends slowly build their relationship without even knowing it.

Cedric leaned over Harry to say, "Do you think we should help them to a date already?"

"I think so." Harry said smiling at the scene.

The two boys care for them so much and know them too well, they both are attracted to each other but don't know it. Cedric especially who has been listening to— basically her whole life story wanted to help the girl find someone for her, someone good enough. They spent months of bonding and he cares for her too much.
