"Robert, you got to tell me what's going on," I demanded.

"Just- we're almost there. Please, just go with it. Don't ask questions. This is a serious situation," he replied.

"How serious?"

He remained silent. I repeated again. "How serious?"

I just groaned to myself.

"I have to tell you something else, Lou."

"What?"

"Jonesy. He's engaged."

"Wh- what?"

"I guess he just found his soulmate. He was tired of your constant indecisiveness."

"Oh, really? Well, excuse me for going back to care for my mother in her time of mourning."

He just shook his head as we pulled up to Jimmy's flat. I quickly jumped out of the car and up the stairs to the front door. I knocked, but nobody answered.

"Here," Robert said, pulling out a key,"I've got a spare. He must've known I was going to get you."

"What's wrong with him? I need to know."

"Go ahead and find out."

I made my way over to the staircase. I gulped as I set my hand on the railing and began to move up slowly, step by step.

I could hear mumbling coming from the room upstairs. My heart was beating rapidly as I made it to the top. The mumbling grew louder as I strided  over and have a gentle knock on the door. He didn't answer so I rested my eat against the door to hear what he was talking about.

"No, I shouldn't do it, should I? I can't. I don't have the guts. She hates me anyways," Jimmy argued with himself.

Oh, god. He's going to kill himself.

I immediately burst into his room and cried out,"don't do it!"

Jimmy turned around to face me, but continued to stare at the pale hardwood floor, his long hair completely shadowing his face.

"Jimmy, I-”

"Ssh," he interrupted,"why shouldn't I do it?"

"Because- because i love you, James."

He grunted,"although I hate when you call me James, I'm still going to have to go on with it."

"Didn't you hear me? I said I loved you."

"Of course I heard you. That's the reason I have to do this."

Before I could reply he reached into his pocket and pulled out a ring. He looked up at me and then got on one knee. "Will you, Louisa Mae Stevens, allow me, James Patrick Page, to take your hand in marriage?"

My mouth was wide open in shock. All I could do was nod as he gently slipped the ring into my finger.

"I love you, too," he whispered as he gently stroked my hair and pulled me close for a kiss.

"Why would you still want me after all that happened?" I asked as he pulled away.

"You were always there. I felt like you were my missing half. I was a wreck without you."

"I guess I was, too."

"So, shall we have this dance?"

I looked around. "There's no music."

"Oh, really? Ah, yes. I knew I forgot to do something!"

Jimmy clapped his hands three times and all of a sudden an uproar of noises and cheers began to erupt from outside.

I scurried over to the window and looked down. Below us were about fifty people, including the members of Led Zeppelin, all getting ready to sing. And sing they did, indeed.

They were very off key and couldn't really keep a beat. But Jimmy and I continued to dance, laughing through all of our mistakes.

This was it. At this very moment, everything was perfect and I knew it would stay that way for years to come. The love of my life was beside me the whole time, but I didn't even notice how much he meant to me until if actually taken the time to realize it. He was finally mine after all this time. And he'd be mine forever, till the end. He was my true love and there was no questioning that.

A/N: short but sweet ending, I guess. Hope you all enjoyed! I'll get a new story going soon. I'm trying to think of which bands. Maybe Pink Floyd or The Beatles? Or make a specific suggestion because I'm always open for that :)
