The town was small and grungy. Every building was covered in a thick layer of dirt, as if the inhabitants hadn't cared to maintain the appearance of their village.
Only a few stragglers lurked on the dirt roads, most of them ignoring the presence of the Sins altogether. The only other signs of life were the flickers of candlelight coming from the dilapidated houses.

Elizabeth stood at the entrance of the Boar Hat. The town was dirty, but it didn't give her a bad feeling. She knew they would only be there for a few days, so she knew they couldn't encounter too much trouble.

Meliodas came from behind her, and put his hand on the small of her back. Just the motion alone made it hard to stand. He whistled. "Well this is a lovely little town."
Elizabeth smiled at him. "It made not be the...most beautiful of towns, but I think it's a little charming."
Meliodas gave her a dubious look, and then grinned. "Whatever you say." He put his hands behind his head, and then strolled out. "I think I'm going to go look around a little bit. Be right back!"

He took a few steps outside, and then turned around. "Oh yeah, make sure you guys put your uniforms on. Be expecting some customers in a little while."
"Sure Captain!" Diane sad with enthusiasm. Elizabeth just nodded. Meliodas's eyes lingered a little more on Elizabeth. "Oh yeah. I got something for you. I left it in your room."

Elizabeth was puzzled on what this mystery object was, but she nodded again and waved. "Goodbye, Sir Meliodas!"

Meliodas turned and walked away.

Elizabeth instantly missed the feeling of his hand on her back. Again she squashed her feelings, but a small tingling sensation circled in the areas where his fingers grazed the top of her skirt, where they had touched bare skin. She wondered how they would feel in..other places. She shook her head, snapping out of her daze. She looked out of the doorway to see if she could still see Meliodas, but he was gone. Elizabeth turned around, and closed the door.

...

Elizabeth wandered upstairs towards her room. She thought about the way the Captain looked at her.
Over the past few days, things had...changed between them. She found him staring at her a fraction longer, with something more intimate in his eyes. His touches had become more gentle, and less innapropriate. Whether it was him brushing away a stray lock of hair, or talking to her in a gentler tone, Elizabeth noted what he did. It made her feel warm inside. She hoped her mind wasn't making things up.

She finally opened the door, and saw a small box sitting on the edge of the bed. It was small and purple, and made of a smooth material. She slowly opened the box.

"What!?" She squealed, closing the box. A gigantic blush spread across her cheeks. She closed the box and dropped it on the floor.
Hawk came rushing into her room. "Princess Elizabeth, what's wrong?"
Elizabeth slowly pointed to the box on the bed. Hawk trotted over to it, sniffed it. He pushed the lid off the box and...
"CAPTAIN!" Hawk yelled, steam coming from his nose "YOU NASTY PERVERT!"
