Lillys POV

The wind blew in my hair as I stood on the balcony looking out to the horizon.  Today was coronation day, they wanted to wait a few days after the battle so that they could capture the rest of the witch's forces and mourn the deaths of the ones who died. I was lost in my thoughts when I felt two arms wrap around me from behind. Smiling I turned around to face Peter, 'What are you doing here you should be getting ready.' I told him. 'So should you' he shot back. ' Its not my coronation.' I stated. I stood on my tiptoes and kissed his cheek before walking off to get ready.

My dress was laid on my bed, it was beautiful. It was long greeny grey colour , it had long sleves that were flowy. I looked at it in awe and quickly put it on. My hair was put half up with flowers in them as I put my crown on my head. It had been a long time since I wore it last but being the daughter of Aslan I had to wear it. I was the princess of Narnia after all.

After checking I looked presentable I walked and met the Beavers stood near the thrones. It was so strange being back here after so long, I used to play near those thrones when I was a little girl and know someone was going to be sitting in them.  My head came back out of the clouds when the trumpets were blown and they walked down the middle. Lucy and Susan on one side of my father, Peter and Edmund on the other. My eyes met my Peters and I smiled at him, I could tell he was amazed by the castle. They all stood in front of their throne when my father spoke ' to the glistening easter sea i give you queen lucy the valiant.' As he said this Mr Tumnu took the silver crown and walked up to Lucy, who lowered herself to allow the faun to place it on her head. ' To the great western wood king Edmund the just.' The faun placed his crown on his head.'to the radiant southern sun,  queen susan the gentle, and to the clear northern sky i give you king Peter the magnificent.' The four of them stood in front of their thrones, now looking complete with their crowns on their heads. They all took a seat as my father continued ' Once a king or queen of narnia always a king or queen my your wisdom grace us until the stars rain down from the heavens.' He turned around to face us all as we chanted  ' Lomg live king peter long live king edmiund long live queen susan long live queen lucy.'

Everyone made there way to the hall for drinks and food, my father and I stayed behind to talk.    'you're leaving arent you ?' I asked him. He looked at me and nodded 'yes dear one I am, you are welcome to join me. Im sure your mother and sisters would love to see you.' he said to me. ' If i went with you could I come back.' I asked. ' yes but not for a couple of years.' I nodded my head, stroking hi mane before joining the party with everyone else.

We partied for a couple of hours, I danced with everyone. Susan, Lucy, Mr Tumnus the beavers, Edmund and Peter. But then it came the time for me to leave with my father. I quickly snuck out of the party and back to my room  and started packing. There was a knock at my door.. 'Come in' I shouted. 'Lilly what are you doing' Peter asked watching me pack my things up. ' Packing sill what does it look like.' I smiled at him to hopefully ease the tension. 'What for?' He asked. ' Well, I don't need these things were I am going so i will pack them up and leave them here.' I replied ' Where are you going?' he said. ' Home with my father.' He nodded and began to help me pack.

With all my things packed we headed to the front of the castle. ' I will come back I promise, it just wont be for a while.' I said looking in to Peters eyes. ' Goodbye Peter.' I kissed his cheek and walked to my father who was waiting. I transformed as we walked on the beach. I turned around and could see Lucy on the balcony, giving her one last look I turned around and we were gone.
