Leda POV

After Layla fell asleep, I became bored. So I picked up mystery guys IPod, and started to look through it. The name of the IPod was named Devon Be Jamming. I giggled at it, and looked through his pictures. He was pretty adorable, and in each picture his eyes were a different shade of brown. They were really pretty eyes, and I suddenly felt selfconcious of the pictures I had on my IPod. The one of me in the dress wasn't the most flattering picture. What if he thought I was ugly?

I shook the thought from my head and started to look through his notes on his IPod. Some of them seemed to be poems or even lyrics to a song. I wondered if he played any instruments. One of the notes was a reminder that said:

Don't forget, rehearse My Alien

I loved that song. Even though it's about an alien, I have always wanted a guy to sing it to me. I smiled a small smile to myself, envisioning him singing the song to me. But I shook that thought from my head too because that was rediculous. I haven't met the guy yet, but I could tell I was going to warm up to him quickly. I really like the way his IPod is set up. I giggled at some of the songs he had. He even had The Letter Black, who I love. He seemed to have every genre, kind of how my IPod does. I looked through his notes more, and I saw something that caught my eye. It seemed to be a poem or a song or something. It said (a/n this is a song by framing hanley so here is the credit for them. im not creative enough to make a song):

Who's to say there's a way this has to end?

We're writing our own rules

Who's to blame?

Give me names and what they said.

Oh how could they hurt you?

And when you crumble away under pressure...

You need to borrow my strength and I'll let ya.

It's getting heavier hold, hold it steadier.

I see...

Life is throwing you curves.

You can make it

Take it in, try again, you don't deserve this

I just wanna save you.

You can take it on the chin.

Try again.

You'll make it...

You don't have to carry the weight of the world.

You don't have to carry the weight of the world.

Separate what you hate from what you love.

Once and for all...

And if you tumble my way I can catch ya.

If you follow my lead,

And I'll bet ya its feeling heavier.

Hold, hold it steadier.

I see...

Life is throwing you curves.

You can make it.

Take it in, try again, you don't deserve this.

I just wanna save you.

You can take it on the chin.

Try again.

You'll make it...

You don't have to carry the weight of the world.

You don't have to carry the weight of the world.

Life is throwing you curves.

You can make it.

Take it in, try again, you don't deserve this.

I just wanna save you.

You can take it on the chin.

Try again.

You'll make it...

You don't have to carry the weight of the world.

Don't have to... carry the weight...

You don't have to carry the weight of the world.

Carry the weight of the world.

Who's to say there's a way this has to end?

I sighed, and smiled. He was good with words. I picked up the lyrics for it, and started to try to sing it. I think I was able to catch the way he wanted the rhythm to be, but there was no way to be sure.

I sighed in defeat, and started to scroll through his music, but decided to press shuffle. The song Conspiracy by Paramore came on, and I sighed again.

Two years ago, one of my really good friends died. She died from a crash, that could have been prevented. She was on an ATV, and she wasn't wearing a helmet. I went through a period in time where I wouldn't talk to anyone. I practically went mute, and I would barely eat anything. I went through so much. I would have flashbacks, and hullicination. I would think she was standing there, but she wasn't or I would think I saw her in the hallway and would follow her.

But she was never there. I still miss her so much. This song brought back memories of how I felt like the world was out to get me. This was my theme song for a while. It still hurts to think about how much I miss her. If I could change one thing in my life, I would change that accident. A silent tear rolled down my face, but my index finger caught it. I realized she won't graduate with me, and that made me sad again. I pressed the next button trying to get out of the sadness I was feeling.

I fell asleep to Before I Forget by Slipknot.

Devon's POV

I decided I was going to crash at Noah's house. He drove us back to his house, and we both headed downstairs. He laied face down on his bed, and I knew he was asleep. I pullede out the mystery girl's IPod deciding I would mess with it tomorrow morning.

I turned on the metal station and fell asleep to Before I Forget by Slipknot.
