Leda's POV

I walked out of the house, buzzing with delight. I smiled thinking about his amazing brown eyes, and how they made his face look animated. I almost squealed at the thought of him dedicating that song to me. I was quickly taken out of my dream world when Layla started screaming after we got in the car.

"Oh My GOD! Did you see the hotty in the band?" She kept saying. My heart sunk, and I frowned. Bestfriend's can't like the same guy.

"Which one?" I asked, faking a smile.

"The one who standing next to the singer, with the guitar bass thingy. Whatever it was, he's hot!" I grinned realizing it wasn't Devon.

"Get his digits girl!" I yelled.

Then I realized we had to get home before my mom could get mad. I wished she could just chill out and trust me. I pulled out of the driveway, feeling the heat of summer on my body. I put down the windows, feeling the freedom of summer. One that I had desperately been waiting for. I smiled and felt everything was great. The breeze was blowing the summer air through my hair, and my best friend in the world was here. We were both happy, and the stars were out shining really bright. Enough to make it look like a light was shining on earth. I turned to Layla to say something. But she screamed. I turned my head to the left, and I screamed to.

Bright lights were coming at me. I pressed on the gas pedal, and felt my whole car shake and make a horrible crunch sound. I started to freak out, and I saw Layla with her eyes closed, and a gash on her forehead. My airbag, was craming in my face, and I knew I had to get out. I just managed to get out, and I even managed to open my door. I called 911, crying, telling them where I was. I looked through the window, and I saw Layla still breathing, which made me feel a little better.

I walked, limping slightly, to the other car. It was Brad, and another guy. They were both passed out, but Brad seemed to be breathing. I couldn't tell who the other guy was, because his head was done. I panicked and opened the door. Brad's eyes shot open, and he looked confused. Then shock and terror took over his features.

"Oh my god. Are you okay? Is he okay?" I asked, and I could even hear the terror in my voice.

"I am. Devon, I don't know. Man what happened?" He asked.

"I don't know." I replied, shaking.

I helped him out of the car. And noticed Devon stop breathing. I knew I wasn't suppose to move him out of the car, so I leaned his chair back. I started to give him CPR, and I tried to make him breathe again. I was shaking as I blew air into his mouth, and did chest compressions. I sighed when he started to breathe again, and I realized I had been crying. And thats when everything went into chaos. I heard the sirens coming, and I needed to go help Layla. I helped her out, now that she was awake.

I hopped in the ambulance with Brad, Devon, and Layla. They needed to check everyone out. I was holding hands with Devon and Layla. Devon still wasn't awake yet, and this made me scared. Even though I don't know the guy, I felt terrible. It was my fault we were in this situation. I looked at how scared everyone was. I think Brad's leg is broken or hurt because he flinched when he walked on it, and had a severe limp. I looked down and noticed it wasn't the one he used the drums, and I felt a little relief. Devon was going to hate me for this.
