Chapter 23 : friends

Yang Jungwon's P.O.V.

"So.. " Min started. "We're stuck in here?"

I slowly nodded. "I guess.."

That chair is keeping the door from being locked that's why it's always there. Since Min is a transfer student, I guess she doesn't know about it.

"Do you have your phone with you?" I asked her.

She shook her head. "I left it in the room with Yujin before I went here.."

"I guess we're really stuck in here.." I sighed. "I also didn't bring my phone with me and.. we can't jump from the window.. we're at the third floor.."

Woah.. that's the longest thing that I've ever said to Min.

"Should we just wait for someone to come and help us?" She asked.

I nodded. "I'm sure they would notice that we've been gone for too long and ask someone to come look for us."

She nodded and sat down beside me on the table. Then, an awkward silence filled the room. I glanced at Min and saw her looking down while slowly swinging her feet since her feet doesn't reach the ground.

Should I start a conversation?

"Min?" I started.

She looked at me. "Yeah?"

"W-we never introduced ourselves to eachother properly eventhough we've been seeing eachother for a week now.. so uhmm.." I nervously bite my lower lip and reached out my right hand to her. "Hi I'm Yang Jungwon.. nice to meet you."

Good job Jungwon..

She smiled and accepted my hand. "Hwang Haemin.. nice to meet you too Jungwon."

Her hand is so soft.. okay Jungwon stop being a creep.

A second later she let go of my hand and I gotta admit I got a bit disappointed. "So uhmm.. what do you do for fun?"

"Actually I'm not sure.. I just mostly scroll through my phone." She chuckled. "What about you?"

"Well except for being a part of the dance club.. I also do taekwondo from time to time.." I shyly said.

"Woah taekwondo?" She looked at me. "A friend of mine also does taekwondo."

"Really?"

She nodded. "Yeah but I never seen him do it though.. you know it'll be nice if the two of you met, both of you does taekwondo and even have the same name."

I furrowed my eyebrows. "Same name?"

"Yep." She nodded happily.

"Oh.. what a coincidence.." I pursed my lips together. "By the way.. I'm sorry for my weird behavior towards you for the past week.. I'm just.. well you could say I'm nervous haha.."

"Nervous?" She looked at me confusedly. "Why would you be nervous towards me?"

Oh sht.. what do I answer to that?

"Uhmm.. I'm not really good at meeting new people..? haha."

Oh really now Jungwon? That's your excuse?

"It's okay." She smiled. "I understand.. so friends?"

I guess we could be friends for now..

I smiled at her. "Frien—"

I was cut off when the door suddenly slammed open.

"There you are!"
