~in the dining hall~

It was October 30th and everyone was eating in the dining room sweets and more food-related to the festive holiday, Halloween. The candles that used to be seen once you entered were now Jacko lanterns. Everything was going well when suddenly the proffesor Quirrell ran inside the room yelling.

"TROLL IN THE DUNGEON!, TROLL IN THE DUNGEON".

Everyone looks up at him and he says, "Thought you ought to know", he says before fainting.

Everyone in the room starts to scream in horror, though you could only hear dracos terribly high pitched scream, it was quite funny really. Your eyes then made their way towards the Gryffindor table, you didn't see Hermione where she usually sits at, you didn't see her at all... then a horrible thought passes your head. "could she be outside?".

People started to stand up to freak out more till dumbledor yelled, "SILENCE".

"Everyone will please not panic, prefects will lead their house to their dormitories, and teachers will follow me towards the dungeon."

You didn't listen to the rest and rushed out to find Hermione. You walked to the room after room searching for her when you find the girl's restroom and decide to search there.

"Hermionie?, hermionie? are you here"

The brown-haired girl opened the stalls door and walked towards you brushing her eyes.

"Are you alright Hermione? I didn't see you at dinner and I was worried, plus theirs-"

Just as you were about to finish your sentence a large figure enters the room, it was the troll. It was tall, with huge ears, and a green body, holding a sort of bat in his left arm. He suddenly looks at you and Hermione.

"a troll". you started to finish your sentence.

"HERMIONE GET DOWN", you say while the troll swishes his bat towards them.

Hermionie screams in a scared voice, you and her run towards the sink and get under them.

The troll was about to hit you and Hermione when suddenly the troll stops and looks behind him. It was harry and ron!.

"y/n! Hermione watch out!", harry says while he and ron are throwing pieces of the bathroom stall at the disgusting troll.

"Hey!, pea brain", ron yells throwing a thicker piece of wood, finally getting the trolls attention from us.

The troll once again smashes a part of the sink which you and Hermione are in, "Help!".

Just as the troll was going to hit us Harry grabbed the trolls bat and climbed up of it leaving the troll confused and even angrier. The troll shook and shook his head for Harry to fall but instead, Harry's wand got stuck in the troll's nose.

"ew", ron says while watching harry.

The troll finally grabs harry from his head and starts to swing his bat towards him, making henry needing to move his body up.

"Do something ron!", you say while looking at harry nearly getting hit.

"What?!",ron says looking for his wand

"anything!"

"Hurry up!", harry yells.

"Swish and flick!", Hermione reminds him.

"Lengardium leviosa!"

The trolls bat suddenly levitated over his head and then SMACK, the bat hit the trolls head hard making it drop harry and fall almost on top of him.

"Good job ron!", you say as you stand up from the ground.

"Is it dead?"

"I don't think so Hermione, just knocked out", you reply whilst looking at the troll with Harry's wand stuck inside his nose.

Harry pulls out his wand from the troll's nose leaving strands of troll boggers in his wand.

Ron and Harry groaned "troll bogies", ron says making a disgusted face.

Just in time all the teachers came into the bathroom stalls,

"Oh my goodness! explain yourselves! all of you", proffesor mcgonnagl said looking disappointed yet relieved we were alright.

Then Hermione replies; "It's my fault proffesor mcgonnagal". Ron and Harry look at each other with surprised faces and I look at Hermione with a guilty face.

"miss granger?"

"I went looking for the troll. I've read about them and thought I could handle it, but I was wrong. If y/n ron and harry haven't come for me, id probably is dead."

"Be that as it may, it was an extremely foolish thing to do. I would've expected more rational behavior on your part miss granger, I am very disappointed. Five points will be taken from Gryffindor, as for you three kids I just realize how fortunate you are. Not many students are able to take a full-grown mountain troll and live to tell the tail. 5 points will be awarded to each of you, for sheer dumb luck." she finishes as she leaves the restroom.

"Perhaps you ought to go. it might wake up", proffesor Quirrell says while we leave and he stays watching the troll almost waking up.

You, harry, ron, and Hermione walked towards our dorms while talking about why Hermione was there in the first place anyways.

"You can ask ron about that swan", Hermione tells you while glaring at ron, He makes a sad guilty face and says, "I'm sorry Hermione I didn't mean it".

"well, I better go to my common room, see you guys tomorrow". They wave at you and head towards the other direction.

~the Slytherin common room~

You quietly enter trying to not make a sound when suddenly you see a blonde-haired boy staring at you.. it was Malfoy.

"where have you been y/n? there was the troll in the castle"

"well, I went searching for Hermione because I haven't seen her when they announced the troll. And well we found it but harry and ron helped us not die."

Dracos eyes grow big, "are you crazy swan?! you went to look for a filthy little mudblood?! you could have died!"

"Well I'm fine Draco, if harry and ron hadn't been there then yes something would have happened, but it didn't so I'm going to leave now... and don't ever call Hermione that offensive name again! or else".

Without another word, you walked back to your room leaving Draco speechless. You got dressed for bed and tried to clear off any thoughts that came into your head.
