~Herbology class~

"Good morning everyone", proffesor sprout greeted.

"Good morning proffesor sprout", everyone replied

"Welcome to greenhouse three, second years. Gather around everyone, Today we're going to re-pot mandrakes. Who here can tell me the properties of a mandrake root?", the grey-haired lady with a hat said.

Of course, hermionie was the first person who shot her hand up and answered, "Mandrake or mandragora is used to return those who have been petrified to their original state. It's also quite dangerous. The mandrakes cry is fatal to anyone who hears it."

"Excellent. 10 points to Gryffindor", proffesor sprout said with a proud smile.

"Now as our mandrakes are still only seedlings, their cries won't kill you yet. But they can knock you out for several hours, which is why I have given each of you earmuffs. For auditory protection."

She continued, "So could you please put them on, right away. Quickly. Flap them tight down and watch me closely", she said as everyone put their earmuffs on their ears.

"You grasp your mandrake firmly. You pull it sharply out of the box".

Proffesor sprout finished talking and took out the mandrake from the pot. The mandrake began to cry a terrible shrieking cry that made everyone and you cover your ears even more.

"Got it, and now you dunk it down into the other pot and, pour a little sprinkling of soil to keep him warm."

The mandrake was only crying more which made Neville faint and pass out.

"Longbottoms has been neglecting his earmuffs"

"No ma'am he's just fainted", sameous replied.

"Yes well just leave him there", she continued going back to the lesson.

Draco and his two friends, Crabbe and Goyle were laughing at Longbottom's situation. You rolled your eyes and paid attention to proffesor sprout.

"Right. on we go, plenty of potts to go around. Grasp your mandrake and pull it up." she said as everyone started to grip their mandrakes.

You and the rest of the students pulled their mandrake out, making the cries get even louder. You instantly placed your, mandrake into the other pot and covered it with dirt.

You looked around and saw Draco placing his finger inside the mandrake, But the smile faded away when the mandrake bit dracos finger making him shake the mandrake off. You gave a small chuckle and continued watching the rest of the classmates.

~Potions class~

The second class of the day was potions with Severus snape. You noticed a few of your friends were in the class, but once you saw hermionie you sat next to her. Ron was also in the class. He sat next to Harry and Draco was behind you and hermionie with, Blaise by his side.

You began talking with hermionie when snape finally entered and began talking.

"Welcome to year two potions class". Snape still had that lazy sharp voice from last year.

"Today we will be making a potion showing bits of your future".

Everyone gasped and began whispering to the people next to them. You seemed more interested in what proffesor snape was saying.

"Silence. Everyone take out your potions book and turn to page 40", snape said as he was walking around making sure everyone was doing as he said.

"In your book, you will find all the ingredients are placed in front of you. The first person to finish will be awarded 20 points to your houses." He said while sitting down at his desk.
