You had a little talk with ron before heading to the library with Hermione, him, and harry about yesterday. He might not be so happy with you, but you made him say sorry to hermionie, who politely accepted his apology.

"Come seek us where our voices sound", harry replied lazily

"The black lake, that's obvious", you said while yawning

"An hour-long you'll have to look", harry continues

"Again, obvious. Though, admittedly, potentially problematic", hermionie says

"Potentially problematic?  When's the last time you held your breath underwater for an hour hermionie?", harry asks placing his head back down again

"Look, harry, we can do this. the four of us can figure this out", hermionie says

"Hate to break up the skull session. Proffesor McGonagall wants you in her office. Not you potter, just hermionie, y/n, and ron", moody said stopping harry from standing up

"But sir, the second task is only hours away, and-"

"Exactly. Presumably, potter is well prepared now and can do with a good night's sleep. Go, now", moody says almost yelling

You, hermionie, and ron walk away from the library to mcgonaggals office

"What do you think they need us for?", you ask halfway their

"Not sure", hermionie says

The rest of the walk there was silent but comfortable. You finally entered mcgonaggals classroom and sat down on a stool that was in front of you.

"Hello kids, very sorry about this", McGonagall says grabbing her wand

"Sorry for what-", you say but just as you were going to finish, McGonagall throws a spell making you see nothing.

The minute you opened your eyes you felt extremely cold. You were in the black lake with Cedric who was grabbing you by the arm.

"I'm guessing this was the second task?", you ask shivering

"Yep", Cedric replies brushing your hair out of your head, still swimming towards the dock filled with Cedric's friends.

Samus and dean helped you up handing you towels.

"Here Cedric", you said handing him one of your towels

Hermionie and Krum suddenly appeared out of the water, as viktors school mates chanted his name.

"Wheres harry?", you ask looking for him in the shiny black waters

Fleur's sister and ron got out, but still no sign of harry.

Finally, harry jumped to the docks

"Harry! are you alright? you must be freezing!", you say handing him your towel

"I finished last", harry says shivering

"Next to last, fleur never got past the grindylows", you said

"ATTENTION", Dumbledore yelled

"The winner of this round is Cedric Diggory!  Who showed innate command of the bubblehead charm"

You clapped as hard as you could happy for Cedric

"However, seeing as potter would have finished first had it not only been for his determination to rescue not only Mr weasly but the others as well. We've agreed to award him second place. For outstanding moral fiber!", Dumbledore added

"Second place!", you said proudly to harry

"Now I remember, when I first ever set eyes on yall, the Biggest bunch of misfits I've ever seen. Suppose you remind me of myself when I was younger. And here we all are four years later", hagrid says as you,hermionie, ron, and harry were walking in the forest

"We still are", ron said chuckling

"Well maybe, but we've all got each other", hagrid says

"And harry, of course, soon to be the youngest Triwizard champion there's ever been!", you added

"Hooray!", hagrid yelled

"Hogwarts, Hogwarts, hoggy warty Hogwarts, teach us something please", you sang with hagrid hermionie and ron happily

"You guys should have seen dracos face when we were singing that song", you say laughing

You laughed and joked with them until you got towards the castle saying goodbye to everyone, and heading towards the dungeons to the Slytherin common room.

It was the day of the last Triwizard tournament task. You kissed Cedric one final good luck and sat in the front row with Blaise and Millicent. Blaise and Millicent were finally a couple and you couldn't be happier.

"You and digorry are actually pretty cute together swan", Blaise says holding Millicent's hand

"Thanks, you two are also", you said winking at them

Cedric appeared in front of the maze with his father holding his hand into the air. You cheered loudly excited for Cedric to come back.

"Earlier today, professor moody placed the Triwizard cup deep into the maze. Only he knows its exact position. Now, as Mr. Diggory and Mr potter", he says as the people's cheers interrupt him

"Are tied for first position they will enter the maze, followed by Mr. Krum and Mrs. Delacour. The first person to touch the cup will be the winner", Dumbledore said as the players got ready.

"Champions, prepare yourselves"

Cedric waved at you and hugged his father before entering the maze.

the cannon was heard and the contestants walked into the maze slowly. You sat down ready to wait for Cedric and harry to come back, while the band played its music and people cheered.

It's been many many minutes since they left. Fleur was the first to come back then Viktor, but still no harry and Cedric.

"you know, I've been thinking about this for a while. I'm going to tell Cedric I love him, right after the games", you said picturing you and him

"That's great y/n! I bet he feels the same way", Blaise responds

It felt like hours since fleur and Krum had come back, you were almost sleeping on Millicent's shoulders until you heard the band play loudly again.

"Y/n! wake up! there's Cedric and harry", Blaise says trying to watch from the jumping crowd.

You immediately got up when you heard a scream

Harry was on top of Cedric sobbing, not letting Dumbledore touch him.

You realized what happened. You felt your heart sink. The music started to fade away as tears started to form in your eyes

You ran through the crowd and saw him lie there in the ground, not blinking, not moving, just staring into your eyes as you stared into his cold dead ones. You screamed, that's all you felt like doing as your cheeks drowned in your tears.

"No-n-no he's just sleeping", you said stuttering at the words, not wanting to believe he was really gone

"That's my boy! that's my boy!", you heard Cedric's dad said, as he knelt down to cry on Cedric's cold body.

You collapsed to the floor, not crying, not even blinking. You couldn't move at all. You felt people touch your shoulders and could hear the voices fading.

"y/n can you hear me?", you hear someone say, but don't move your mouth.

The only thing you heard was Voldemort. Voldemort was back.
