14. The Wedding

Dahyun's POV

As I reached the school, I saw a kid around 12 waiting on the entrance.

Judging by his appearance,

I think that's Minhyun.

Monolid eyes

Pointed nose

Pale skin

And a plump lips.

He looks exactly like Jimin! Only younger.

I am still not sure so I approached him. And I was right.

"Eomma!" He said. His voice got a little deeper.

I hugged him and we drove back to our house.

"We're going to your aunt Mina's wedding!" I said.

Minhyun just nodded.

Not long after, we have reached out house. I don't know what's happening, but Jimin is also there.

"Yeobo, we'll attend Mina's wedding." I said.

He nodded and kissed my cheeks.

We prepared quickly and drove to the church.

When we arrived, lots of people were there. We stand up as the ceremony is about to start.

The church door opened and Mina walked down the aisle. She looks really pretty.

As she's walking, our eyes met and we both exchange smiles. The same cheeky smile we used to exchange back in highschool. Which was just hours ago.

I am too engrossed by the scene of the couple exchanging their vows. Suddenly, Jimin wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Our wedding wasn't like this. It wasn't grand."
He said.

I raised my eyebrows and said, "and?"

"I can marry you again if you want. But this time, I'll marry you in a church instead of somewhere else." He replied again.

I just chuckled "But our wedding is perfect to me. It was more than beautiful."

"Really?" He asked.

I just hummed and direct my attention to the wedding.

Soon enough, the couple kissed and we cheered.

And like any other weddings, Mina's wedding have slow dance too.

Jimin took my hand and we started waltzing along with the others.

I don't know, but it felt like i am in a whole new world.

It's not our wedding, but being with Jimin today is completely magical.

"I love you." He said.

"I love you too. So much."

We just smiled. We rested our forehead on each other's.

The wedding ended soon, and I bid goodbye to my best friend.

We drove back to our house and I am surprised that our house is filled with balloons and rose petals.

There is also a gigantic cake in the middle saying,

Happy 40th Birthday, Kim Dahyun!.

"Surprise!" I heard Jimin said.

But what surprised me more is the drastic change in his appearance.

So we're forty years old???

Shit

What time is it already?

I looked at the clock and got shocked.
