A child laid in bed, giggling, as her grandfather tucked her into bed. The child's smile was bright and warm, luring the father into contentment. The warmth of the blankets created a warm fuzzy feeling around the young girl.
"Tell me a story Papa Tadashi!" Her wide eyes were staring deep into his own, twinkling in the dim moon light.
"Alright, Celeste. Tonight, I will tell you a grand story. One of how day and night came to be." The old man smiled at his grand daughter, his heart starting to hurt.
"Our story begins with somebody much like yourself." His kind eyes started to stare off as he begin to think. "They had h/l, h/c hair that seemed to glow everywhere they went."
"They had the kindest smile, that would always make everyone's day better. They always tried their best to make sure that everyone was okay. Their name was Y/n."
Celeste let out a gasp as her eyes widened, "But that's my mother's name!"
Tadashi chuckled at the girl's sudden outburst. "That's right, your mom was named after Y/n. Anyway, let's continue the story." He tapped his chin, "Now that we know our main character, let's begin."

A long corridor stretched menacingly through a giant castle. It's walls were made of quartz, broken in to large pieces. In between the large shards, ran streams of glowing gold. It ran like water through the various crevasses. Large windows covered the side wall, revealing the setting sun.The warm orange light leaked into the hallway, like warm honey. The sky was a mix of beautiful, vivid colors. It was as if someone was holding a paintbrush, and painted the sky each night. The colors twisted, and swirled into a beautiful picture.
Bright oranges and soft yellows began to mix, leaking into the striking blue of the sky. Where the colors met, pinks swirled around, dancing in the puddle of colors. Mountains and trees were mere silhouettes, compared to the striking picture that laid beyond the glass. Birds flew across the scene, flipping and diving around the sky. The entire site seemed to dance, calling anybody further in. The dance was elegant and inviting, it was the dance of dusk.
The fleeting sunlight caused the entire hallway to glow a warm orange, as it reflected off of the glowing quartz. At the end of the hallway stood two golden doors, and there you were. Taking in a big breath of air as your heart raced.
Your sweaty hands grasped the cool metal door handle. You gulped loudly, as you began to question why you were here. After you talked yourself into going in, you let out the breath you were holding. Opening the grand doors, and stepping in, you sealed your fate.
Your hands were clasped together behind you as you walked, your footsteps echoing through out the large room. In front of you, there was a pool of liquid gold. It was orange, with yellow glittery liquid dancing in the darker color. They never mixed, remaining their own colors as the danced together.
