Today was our first official day in Baton Rouge and I  slept comfortably in my dad's old bed.

I woke up to seeing all types of medals with his name on it and trophies there were like photos of him directing the choir he was on a box or standing on something he was just so cute.

Then there was a photo of him and mom when they were younger they look so cute together.

Then there was a baby pictures of daddy and I dont know how people get my baby pictures mixed up with his.

I made up the bed and then I grabbed some clothes and underwear and I went in the bathroom across from dad's bedroom.

I did my usual hygiene and then I got dressed and went back in the room to lotion my hands and legs.

I did my hair into a ponytail making my hair curlier my edges was slicked down and so I grabbed my phone off the charger and I went downstairs.

" Good morning papa baby " said Papa as he hugged and kissed me on my cheek.

" Good morning Papa " I said as I return the hug and kiss on the cheek back to him.

" Good morning Papa other baby " he said to Alyssa as he did the same thing yes Alyssa is treated like their granddaughter as well.

" Good morning Papa " said Alyssa as she returned the hug and kiss on the cheek.

Me: Good morning daddy

" Good morning my babies how did you two sleep and Micaì did you talk to your dad for the morning yet " said nana.

" Good morning nana and yes he mesaaged me saying good morning just now " I said.

" Ok baby yall ready to go because we have a fun day ahead of us and Richard are you coming or what " said nana.

"  No honey I have to do some stuff at the church see yall later " said papa.

We followed nana out the door and into her jeep she pulled out and we were on our way to a breakfast place.

Me: We are now on the road we are going for breakfast

" Let me guess that's my son messaging you only have to be him because my daughter knows your safe " said nana she was referring to my mom.

" Mom knows I am safe with you daddy is the one messaging me like crazy nana and I feel like he have something up his sleeves " I said.

" Baby you know how your dad goes so he  probably does have something up his sleeves " said nana.

We pulled up to  IHOP and nana parked in the closet parking spot and we got out and we went inside.

We were immediately seated and handed menus the hostess told us that our server will be with us soon.

" My son is something else baby and when he comes you spend time with him that's your dad still ok " said nana.

" Ok nana I will and dad might just do something just to surprise me " I said.

Our server finally came and took down our orders then she went to put the orders in .
