4: What happened to the spiders?

Every night when Haruka goes to sleep, there's training and has been training for a couple of months now. She is still waiting for her quirk to manifest. That is if she gets one. She's improved quickly over the months with Korra and is now ready to learn how to create a water whip. Training has been very enjoyable and she wishes she could stay longer but dreams soon come to an end because when she wakes up, she goes to school.

School. The one place she despises yet loves. She loves school because she gets to learn new things and the reason she despises that place is because of one person only. Katsuki Bakugo.

She's in the same preschool as him and she has admired his confidence when she first saw him, although sometimes it's a bit too much and he gets carried away. She would always watch Bakugo leading his group of friends into everyday adventures with envy.

But ever since he got his quirk three weeks ago, his arrogance increased and shows off his quirk constantly which gains compliments from adults that he has an ideal quirk for a Hero. Haruka had to admit that it is a really cool quirk to have and that she's a little envious that he had gotten his quirk first among her peers.

Even if he does have an ideal quirk, he uses it to bully her friend, Izuku Midoriya, instead of using it to help others.

Izuku Midoriya. A shy kid, with dark green curly hair who always stutters whenever spoken to. Haruka managed to become friends with the broccoli-haired kid through their love for Heroes.

One of their first discussions was about which Hero is their favourite.

"My favourite Hero is All Might 'cause he's so cool!" Midoriya yells in excitement. Haruka nods along with him agreeing that All Might is really cool, especially when he saves people with a smile.

"He is very cool... but my favourite would be between Backdraft or Death Arms. Death Arms saved my Papa a little while back and my Mama helped Backdraft with a fire," Haruka states with a proud face and Midoriya's jaw drops to the ground.

"So cool! I'm jealous, I wanna be saved by Heroes!"

Haruka giggles at him and replies, "Wouldn't it be cooler if you saved people?" His eyes shone with excitement and determination at the question.

"Once I get a cool quirk, like Kacchan, I can save people. Just like All Might!" he cries out excitedly. Haruka dismisses his comment about Bakugo, wondering why he thinks so highly of him when his ego is so high. "Let's go to the park tomorrow and then you can come over to my house! I got a video of All Might that I really want you to watch!" Haruka vigorously nods her head, finally gaining a friend.

Haruka doesn't know why, but many of her peers don't talk to her. Almost like they were avoiding her. But ever since she started drawing Death Arms in her spelling book, Midoriya started talking to her.

"Okay, we'll go to the park tomorrow!"

Haruka skips with her lunchbox in hand, snacks inside just in case they get hungry. When she finally makes it to the park, she sees Midoriya curled up, covering his head as Bakugo and his friends punch and kick his body while a kid sits nearby, watching the scene in front of him in fear. Anger overtakes Haruka. She is furious at Bakugo, enraged at his friends and pissed off at the boy that's just watching them. She is so mad that she acts without thinking.

She drops her snacks and run to the violent boys. She clenches her fists and punches the closest guy who had red wings against his chubby cheek. The guy falls and whimpers from the punch, rubbing the painful spot. The other boys see the situation and stand a few feet away from her, observing what she'll do next. Bakugo glares at her as the other boy with hands that were the size of her body helps the other by picking his whole body up and setting him down on his feet.
