Later that day, Inko drops off Haruka at her apartment, which coincidentally is in the building next to Building 2 where they lived. Haruka bows her head respectfully to Inko, thanking her for having her and for dropping her off and Kaede soon comes in who immediately converses with Inko.

The two women hit it off pretty well, discussing how they didn't realise that they live so close to each other and then Inko informs Kaede about their children's new friendship. Haruka making her first friend relieves Kaede, especially someone becoming her best friend, because Haruka would always look disappointed whenever she asks how school was. Her reply would be, "Nobody talked to me today like usual, so I would say my day was... okay."

At the mention of their children, Inko asks Kaede, "Kuribi-san, has your daughter gotten her quirk yet?"

Kaede shakes her head, bringing a hand to her cheek in worry, "No, she turned four a few months ago but I'm still a bit worried. I was thinking of taking her to the doctors soon." Ever since Haruka turned four, Kaede has been feeling restless and worried that she would be quirkless. It's not that she thinks it will affect the family's image or herself. She is just worried about her daughter's future. No parent would want a child to be quirkless because they know that they'll be treated differently. Some may treat the child well but deep down, they will be thinking that they are unfortunate. Better yet, what would happen if the career she wants to fulfil requires someone with a quirk? This is how much Kaede has worried over her daughter developing a quirk.

Inko beams at the mention of doctors and speaks, "I was thinking of taking Izuku to the doctors as well, he's almost turning five. Why don't we both go tomorrow?" Inko's a nice woman and Kaede feels comfort from her words so she nods in reply, accepting the suggestion. They continue their discussion on the most random topics, like where they went to school to what the world was like without quirks. These conversations were comforting and refreshing that they didn't realise it was dark outside.

"Oh no, I was so caught up in our conversation, I didn't realise I had stayed this long."

Kaede smiles at her new friend, "You should go. Midoriya-kun will probably be worried."

Inko bows her head and leaves through the door, "I'm really glad our children became friends. If they didn't, I would've never talked to you." Inko slightly blushes, rubbing the back of her head. She knows that her social skills are not competent because she's busy looking after Midoriya and doing house chores. To top it off, Midoriya doesn't have many friends, so no parents converse with her. That is until now.

"I'm glad that we talked too," Kaede walks her to the door and says her final goodbyes to the retreating figure. Kaede closes the door and walks back into the room. Before she enters her own, she checks on her beautiful child who is already tucked in under the sheets.

Haruka opens her eyes to see the familiar bridge leading into the forest. She turns her head to right and sees Korra Earth bending using both her arms and legs in strong movements. Haruka observes what she is earth bending and it looks like a road, twisting and turning among the trees.

"Uh, Korra. What are you doing?" Korra finishes building the road and smirks, wiping imaginary sweat off her forehead.

"I'm making a track for you."

Haruka raises a brow at her, "A track? Why are you making a track?"

"Well, you've only just started Water bending and I just realised that you haven't trained your body. You would need to have good stamina to endure if you bend for a long period of time, so you're going to be running four hundred-meter laps," Korra states, showcasing the course with outstretched arms.
