CHAPTER 16: I'll Be Waiting

It hasn't been a long time since you turned down Tamaki and Dabi. Dabi still came to check on your every other day, but it was now more uncomfortable and awkward.

Tamaki and you were great friends still, but he always left conversations early between you two.

However, Bakugo and you were honestly doing well.

Kiri: "OH BAKUBROOO!"
Bakugo: "who said you can come in my dorm dumbasses..?"
Denki: "because, we're your friends!"
Sero: "EXACTLY."
Bakugo: "just shut up already.."
Kiri: "oh we also invited someone!"

Bakugo looks at them angrily.

Bakugo: "who did you invite???"
Kiri: "you'll see.."

Bakugo was about to blast them until he heard a knock on the door. He answered and his eyes widened.

"..kiri invited me if that's ok.."
Bakugo: "you don't need a invite just to come here.."
"oh.. right.."

BEFORE

Mina: "y/n! your phone is ringing!"
"gotcha!"

You rushed towards your phone, picking it up and stepping outside.

📞 "hello??"
📞 unknown: "hey my dear.."
📞 "d-dad..."
📞 Shig: "that's right dear."
📞 "h-how'd you.. what do you want?"
📞 Shig: "I'll be picking you up soon.. be prepared.. juuusst not today.. your father is a bit busy"
📞"n-no please no.. i don't wanna go back"
📞Shig: "it wasn't a decision. you WILL be living here.. found your mom by the way."
📞"m-mom...? but.. but she's dead"
📞Shig: "oh no no, she's right here and she misses you terribly."
📞"SHE ABANDONED US! how could you still be in contact with her??"
📞Shig: "after all.. she's still the mother of my child."
📞A female: "Y/N HONEY!! PLEASE COME HOME... I M-"

The line disconnects. You were standing there in shock until you felt someone call your name.

Mina: "Y/n? You okay? You look a little pale?"
"oh!.. i'm good! i'll be there in a sec"

Mina walks off. You heard a message pop up on your phone.

Kiri: "Come to Bakugo's dorm. We're having a sleep over!!!!! 😉😉"
"Will do!"

PRESENT

You walk in with shaky hands and sit on the bed. Kiri, Denki, and Sero were on the ground. Bakugo then sits on the ground with them.

Kiri: "why aren't you sitting on the bed with her?"
Bakugo: "am i suppose too?"
Denki: "you guys are dating right? you should be by her side!"
"no no.. it's ok! really!"
Bakugo: "are you ok? you're acting strange"
"i'm fine! no need to worry about me!"

Bakugo looks at you as you turn away from everyone. You laid in the bed, staring at the wall.

Kiri: "..uhm.. anyways!"
Denki: "Bakugo!!!!! Let's have fun!"
Bakugo: "Oh shut it dumbasses!"

You stayed in bed and just stared at the wall.

Mom... that is your voice... i remember it.. i remember what you said to me when i was young.. i remember when you told me you were never leaving me.. so why did you go.. you left me with father.. a villain.. are you a villain yourself...
